Q: Hi Peter & Team I hold some UEX shares that I'm down on and was thinking of taking a tax loss and moving to PDN to stay in the uraninm sector. Is PDN a more stable company because they are in production? Thanks Greg

Q: Hi Team,
Tourmaline (TOU) share price has been waning since they "missed" in the summer. Unfortunately I'm under water on this one, and seeing red day in and day out wears you down. I an actually thinking of adding to my position depending on your outlook.
When are they due to report, and what's your current insight into the stock?
Should I add before or after the report.
Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter
I see Corby Distilleries changed its name to Corby Spirit and Wine on Nov 07 13. Corby will now trade on the TSX under the symbols CSW.A and CSW.B effective at the start of trading on Tuesday, November 12, 2013.
In your May 09 13 answer to John you state the dividend on CDL.A [Corby Distilleries] is 3.3%, yet my TDWaterhouse site gives a 6.176% yield with a $1.26 dividend. Is the difference because of special dividends and can we count on the 6.18% dividend in the future? The TTM earnings are shown at $0.96 far less that the dividend. Is this a concern? And do you sense a change in direction for the company with the new name and logo?
Thanks... Paul

Q: Hello group. Having read your answer regarding ARE Debentures would you sell this company.
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Doing the math on PLB/ENDP Friday close and US/C$ exchange I get PLB trading at a discount of $1.36 C$ on the deal. Do you think this represents the time value of money as it's not expected to close till well into 2014, as well as the market not assigning much value at all to the Knight spinoff which seems to be a pretty small operation for one obscure disease (my sympathy for all who have experienced leishmaniasis), or do you expect the remaining team at Knight to rebuild something similar to a Paladin in time? Do you still recommend a HOLD on our PLB shares? Thanks for the reco on this, a 5 digit gain so far...J.
Q: Hi gentlemen, I would appreciate your opinion on Loyalist LOY. I have lost about 30% of the value recently and would like your opinion on should I sell or hold.If it is a hold what is your one year outlook.
Thanks,
Doug

Q: Nordex Explosives(NXX) has recently opened up a new sales office as well as having new warehouses in the Toronto and Ottawa areas. What is your opinion of them knowing that they are setting themselves up for growth.
Q: Re: Inter Pipe - IPL: When you say Macquarie (whoever they are) downgraded IPL, do they have to give a reason, or is it just a whimsical kind of thing?
Q: Hello Peter, when Cineplex offer its convertible debentures, I think you said you weren't a fan of CDs in general, but since they were Cineplex, they would be ok. Now Aecon is offering them. I know you prefer Stantec over Aecon, so how do you feel about Aecon CDs? Can you explain why you aren't a fan of CDs in general?
Thanks very much.

Q: Hello 5I team. Yesterday, Trilogy energy reported a weak quarter which is disappointing and the stock took a large hit yesterday & today. I have been a long term holder of TET (2006) and have had an average gain of approx. 15% to date. My question: Where do you see TET 12 months from now and do you think it would be wise for me to exit now and take my gain and invest in TOG or SGY. Both of these have decent dividends. Perhaps you can recommend a couple of better plays that have potential to grow and provide some dividend income while we wait. I find your straightforward advice extremely valuable and look forward to your answer.

Q: Hi team.
I've been a shareholder of Canacol energy (CNE ) for the last two years and seen it's share price oversold at the 2.30 level only to come back storngly to the 5.o9 level on positive developments. however, over the last two weeks, it seems to have lost momentum and has lost almost 20% of it's value. I'ts first quarter numbers2014 are to be out by nov. 15 . Is the price weakness ,lately due to profit taking ,or some other unforeseen reason? Should i buy on weakness or wait for the Nov. 15 Q1 release? Where do you see their share price a year from now?
Thank you from a "frustrated' shareholder

Q: Tekmira TKM shares dropped over 8% on Thursday, down over 15% in the last week. Is it because of the recent share issuance? Or am I missing something? Do you think this may be a buying opportunity, or should I wait until after TKM announces earnings on Wednesday.
I currently have half a position in both TKM and VRX (also down) and would like to add to both in the near future. I would appreciate your advice.
Thank you.

Q: Good Morning. HGN - do you have an update on Halogen? Thanks.
Q: Hi Peter,
I'm looking to redeploy some of my PLB funds into MDA. (Thanks BTW) According to your answers on various questions, you seem very positive on this company for a long term hold. At first glance, I agree, however my question is about the SSL part of the business. It seems to my amateur eyes that besides adding a ton of revenue, not much has been able to fall to the bottom line as of yet.
Is this a case of costs being accounted for before synergies are realized? I just want to double check in terms of true value being present for at least a three year hold.
Thank you Peter for providing this awesome service!
