Q: ROE: I understand this ratio and the fact that, all things being equal, if you can buy a company with a high ROE to EPS you are getting a good deal? However, what is the best way to calculate the ROE-do you discount non-cash items from the income statement? I hold a few companies with huge ROE and fairly low EPS that appear undervalued-so, maybe I am missing something??

Morguard North American Residential REIT lost approx. 3.5% this week for no apparent reason.
Are you aware of any news that would have prompted this negative movement? I bought it a $10.00 and am getting nervous. Is it time to sell?

Q: ENB
I read recently that Enbridge uses most of it's cash flow to pay out the dividends and then issues shares to finance it's new projects and it has been doing this for a number of years.
Is this not a "mugs" game?
Thanks.

Q: Peter et al,
I have 200 shares of Dream Real estate(D.UN0) bought at $30.81 per
share. It pays a nice dividend of 7.27% but does not seem to be going any where. I am considering Brookfield Property (BPY.UN) at 4.835% yld for more growth potential. Can you please give me your opinion on both? Thanks in advance.

Q: Hi Peter,
I have recent joined and the website looks terrific.
I would really appreciate your insight in a company named Ceiba ( CEB )
My plan at this point is not to add any more shares and to hold for the next 12 to 24 months
