Q: Re: ZWB-T
Hi Peter and Crew,
Thanks you for the great answer on the BMO ZEB-T (equal weight Canadian Banks) vs. purchasing 20% each of the big 5.
As a followup question, can you highlight some advantages or potential risks of the BMO Covered Call Canadian Banks fund (ZWB-T). From my analysis, the CC strategy does produce a higher yield. Tempting, but the one year total performance appear to be very similar. What "gotcha's may be out there ?
Thanks for a great service !

Q: Your opinion on RSO, Resource Capital please, buy, sell or hold?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Hi Peter, How should I view today's bought deal announcement from LSI? On one hand it's a huge raise given the market cap, but on the other it would allow them to purchase roughly 25 units for cash - and accelerate there growth beyond the current 50%+ rate. I don't know if I should be upset or excited.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Q: Hi Peter and team,
I am interested in your thoughts on DND-T on the tsx Cipher Pharmaceuticals.

Q: Peter & Co.,
Looking for an updated opinion of Tim Horton's. A lot of noise these days about failed US expansions, debate over activist investor's looking for short term pops vs. long term value, Kevin OLeary claiming he wants them to 'cut the operational fat' etc etc. It trades at a premium it seems, personally, I have a hard time seeing where the growth is going to come from given the Canadian market saturation (albeit, with some of the most loyal customers around, myself included). I own this in both mine and my mother's portfolio, but have been considering a rotation into High Liner foods for a couple of months now. Whats your take on THI? Would you support a rotation into High Liner, or just continue the ride with Timmy's? Thanks guys / gals!

Q: Hi Peter,
Looking to buy a full position in either ESL or CSU with no real holding time frame in mind (could be 6 months or 6 years), which would you go with at today's values? Thanks!

Q: Peter,
What are your thoughts on BSM Technologies (GPS)? Chart looks great, volume has been increasing. Looks like a nice little growth story. Recent Q2 revenue, 20% increase over the same period with a big jump in ebitda.

Q: I am a new member and a long time fan of Peter Hodson and Canadian MoneySaver.
Question: Since bond returns are so poor and now there is a risk of losing capital too, what is an investor to do? I don't feel comfortable being 100% in equity even if it is well diversified and dividend producing. Any ideas?

Q: Hi Peter and Team, regarding Connacher, CLL, wow! Up almost 200% in past three trading days with huge volumes, may I have your thoughts on their recent results and updates. Any other information you can provide would be helpful. With oil at $108 now, differential narrowing nicely and their production looking not bad, where do you see CLL in the next 12 months? Thanks!
Q: None of my accounts have any exposure to U.S. equites. Could you please recommend an ETF or two to fill that void.
Thanks again

Q: I am considering buying VCR Vanguard Consumer Discretionary. Would you consider this as a good choice going forward. Bill
Q: Hi Peter and others,
I am thinking of adding some banks to my portfolio. Do you see an advantage (and would advise) a fund approach (example: the BMO offering of ZEB-T (equal weight Canadian Banks) vs. a purchase of the same amount divided up at 20% each of the 5 major banks. I am looking for both income and growth (a greed thing I guess - tee hee).
Thanks for your answer and thanks for the great "and especially unbiased" service

Q: Hi Peter and Team....do you think that First Asset Canadian Energy Convertible Debenture A ( FAF6003:CAD) has much of an upside in the next year...in advance many thanks...Karl.
Q: Hi Peter & 5i: Since closing at $6.15 on July 5th, Just Energy (JE) has closed higher than the previous trading day’s close every day through yesterday, and now may be pausing at around $7.50. The move doesn’t seem to have been fueled by any news that I have noticed. Could it be primarily a short-covering rally?
