Q: Good day Peter and phenomenal team. "E" Enterprise Group has a halt due to an equity financing with Genuity Capital for 12m shares at $1. What impact do you feel this will have on the stock. What is the upside/downside ramifications of the financing, and the financing at $1.00 as the shares have been trading well above that pricing? Appreciate your answer and all that you do for us "little guys"!

Q: Hi Peter & co,
I have funds to purchase GIC's in my fixed income section of my portfolio. The best rates I could find are with Manitoba Credit Unions. These rates range from 2.2% for 1 year to 3.15% for 6 years. I have done my due diligence on this issue. All funds are 100% insured, no limit to the insured funds. Are you able to comment on the subject.
Thank you,
Mike

Q: Hi Peter
In reviewing the Q&A, the last (and only?) comment that I can find on True North REIT (TNT.UN) was February 13, 2013. What is your opinion of this REIT at this time, for a long term hold? (5 years). Would you please address the fundamentals of this stock as well as comment on the viability of its 9% dividend yield. Can such a yield be truly sustainable over the long term?

Q: Hi,
I have a pretty big position in AVO about 15% which I bought at $32. It has been trending down and I was not able to sell it to reduce my exposure. Today I have purchased 5 put options with 28 strike and sold 5 call options at 32 strike. Do you think it is wise to do this to protect the downside. This will also restrict my upside though.

Q: Hi Peter and team,
There was a massive sell-off today (-20%) in DCK (Donnycreek energy)the reason being they had to temporarily suspend testing due to detecting a higher than average level of Hydrogen Sulphide. Do you feel this sell-off was overdone and would these shares be a good buy at this time.
Thanks
PS looking foward to ESL and AVO earnings after the close today

Q: Hi Peter,
I read a comment recently from another member in the Q&A section in regards to companies that specialize in fracking sand for the energy sector. I have searched through many questions and can't seem to find the question and your response where you mentioned a few names that specialize in providing this service. Can you please name a few companies that provide fracking sand to the industry? Or perhaps another member can recall when this question was asked and answered? I'm sure it was recently over the last week or two. Thank-you.

p.s. Will be glad to support the upcoming Ride for Cancer that Peter is participating in. What a great idea, see our Great Country, exercise, all while supporting a very worthwhile cause!
