Can you please provide your analysis on VISA. There are so many positive factors with Apple iPhone pay and small business simplified payment processes. Can you comment on growth prospects? Do you think its a buy, sell or hold? Thank you. Linda

Q: In spite of the much improved 2015 Q1 operating results over 2014 Q1, LMP's stock price had dropped from its highs in August/September by some 40% by early November (although it has a major rally over the last week or so but still down significantly from its highs). Your comments on this company going forward would be much appreciated.

Q: Hi Peter,

I'm down considerably on the above names.
Would it makes sens to sale them now for tax purposes and
buy something equivalent for the next 30 days, so if a pop up happens I won't be out in the cold.

What do you think about this strategy and do you have any equivalent replacements?

Q: HLP is about to be delisted and I still own shares. Will it still pay a month end dividend? Should I hang on for further dividends? I am not anxious for the cash.

Q: I just heard on BNN that someone (didn't catch which brokerage) had just downgraded atd.b which I hold and have done well with, to a SELL. Kind of shocked at that. What do you make of it. Real Bad News to come??? or what

Q: Is there an etf that holds Canadian or US securities eligible for a RRSP account that also mandates investing only in companies with worthy fundamentals/balance sheets. I know of a mutual fund that does this but I am hoping to acquire an etf. Sector diversification would be preferred but not necessary.

Q: Good morning ,
I have owned BCE for several years now and I have always been happy and comfortable holding it and have done well with a "2 bagger". Lately I have heard several guests on BNN and a few analyst reports that would rate Telus ahead of BCE. Should I perhaps diversify within the sector and sell half of my position in favour of Telus or just continue on with BCE alone, or jump entirely to Telus?

Q: I was wondering if you have news for this huge spike today. TD,Qtrade, Scotia showing no new news. The drilling results came out a few days ago and were great but there was no initial reaction. I was hoping to hear what your thoughts are on a "fair value" for the company. My average cost is $3.76 and I was wondering if you think this is premature move. I also hold VMS. I hold NSU for the balance sheet and low cost...Takeover..VMS for the royalty stream and take out by Hudbay. Thank you as always Jason

Q: What is your opinion of stuart olson at the current price level. I am thinking about taking a small position. Yield is high but not sure if it is sustainable.

Q: I held this stock and then got nervous about losses, or potential losses and sold it during a choppy period at $48.35 and now it's $62.94. I wouldn't mind making another investment in US Technology stocks, so should I go back to RHT or look for something else?
I guess I need to build up my fortitude for those choppy periods!
