In your new Growth Portfolio, your weighting appears to me to be 25% Technology, only 5% Energy and 15% Basic Materials. I am weighted 11.5% Technology with CSU,ESL, MDA, and SYZ. 16% energy with VET, PEY,and BDI. VET and BAD are over just over 8% because of gains and split. My Basic Materials weight is 9% with G and RUS. Should I be reducing Energy to increase Basic Materials and Technology? My other weightings seem in line.

Q: I have owned Cogeco Inc.(CGO)in my TFSA since 2010.It has increased about 40% in the last year and now represents about 32% of my total .AT present I like to carry 5 or 6 equities in my TFSA. Should I sell all or part of CGO? If so, could I have your suggestions.Thanks again for your counsel.Jim

Are you familiar with Danielle? For the past 2 years I have been 50% in cash in my investment account waiting for the big correction that she professes must come to end the cyclical bear market. After spending quite some time looking at all the different fundamentals of these 3 telecom companies maybe you can shed some light on which one you feel I would do best in. Telus,Chunghwa CHT, or Nippon NTT.Being a contrarian at heart I always lean toward the deepest value which I feel would be Nippon telecom,However there ttm ROA is much lower than the other 2 However forward P/E, Price/sales,and P/CF values are much lower.The other metric which I find interesting is the Net income growth AVG over the last 3 years which Telus has performed much better over.

Q: Hello 5i Team, any further comments on BRP as an investment? This winter I found myself riding a SkiDoo and this spring in the dealership ordering a 2015 Skidoo only to have the dealer tell me they have been overwhelmed with orders for 2015 product. I realize that they play in a higher risk enviroment but as far as powersports go they have the bases covered. I also find that people are very loyal to their brand of choice when it comes to powersports.

my question is regarding Tinka Resources ( TK) . the stock recently was halted for several days. it appears majors changes are taking place within this company. i purchased this a while back at a slightly higher price. i know it is very speculative but i also was impressed with the drill results. so now in your opinion is this new company better than the old. in what ways ? please comment on management. also, what do you think of Peru ? can you find out what how much skin management has in the new company ? as an investor do you have any other info that might be of interest to me ? thanx norm

I have a follow up question on Argonaut Gold vs. BTO. I am overweight in gold with a substantial holding in AR. My average cost per share is $4.32. I do not mind holding on as I think the assets of this company are good. It is, however, disconcerting to see a new 52 week low every day! Should I consider moving my holdings in ArgonAut over to BTO, sell and take the loss or hold on? What would be a technical indicator that the stock has bottomed and one could average down....... If one is going to be hung for a sheep.....you might as well make it a Llama!!!
