Q: Long run seemed to have heavy selling along with the oil sector-is it becoming oversold at this point ?
Q: What's going on with FSZ? I purchased this stock because you liked it (can't remember specific reasons). I've held since Oct 2013 and it's down 5.5%. Yes, it pays a dividend close to 3%, but I'm wondering if I should sell while my losses are low.
Q: Pardon my lack of knowledge, but what do you mean by "half position" and "full position" for an investor's holdings. More generally, I cannot find a glossary of terms on the web site.
Thanks for all the great info.
Cyril

Q: Avigilon,Auto Canada,Badger for the long term ie over 5 yrs
Avo,AcQ, Bad are now priced at less then the mid point of their 52 wk low & high.
What is the peg ratio on the above & is it ok to establish a small position , say 1/3 in each of them now with the plan to purchase another 1/3 provided you issue a favorable report on their 3rd Q results.
Thank you

Q: CSS.
I hold Contrans at a profit and have not tendered my shares. Is there any way to find out what the vote is at this time and how close to 66 2/3 Transforce is?

Q: If you we're forced to invest all your wealth in 3-5 stocks and had to hold those securities for 5 years, what would the names be(ETF's excluded)?

Q: Want to take some money off the table in my canadian portfolio but would like to keep some skin in the game. Thinking of an American etf of defence stocks to play the US dollar and the US need to dominate the world. At 67 years old I am willing to place the bet. Which ETF do you think would suit my needs. Thanks Doug
Q: In the September 2014 issue of Money Saver there is an article about Connacher Oil and Gas(CLL). Wondering if your advice would be the same as this article seems to suggest. The author is suggesting that this $.22 stock could soon become a $2.50 stock. Thanks for a great service.
Q: re: WIN.TO
Wi-Lan stock price spiked higher with huge volume at the very last few seconds of the trading day. I have a big position in the stock, and trying find a chance to reduce my position and use the fund for some other technology or industrial names under 5i coverage. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Q: Hi 5i,
Just wondering what your position is on VOC energy trust in the NYSE. I have a fairly large position and have done quite well with its generous dividend. With a 52 week high at 17.51 and decent fundamentals is it worth the risk to continue reaping the benefits or is it time to move on?
Thanks

Q: In response to the Sept 17 & 18 questions on Portfolio Tracking I'd like to say that this issue has been brought up at least twice in the past 2+ years in this forum, the last in early July, 2013. Which brings me to a growing problem here: the archive is getting so large that it takes far less time to ask a new question than scroll back through pages in say, Investor Strategies and Resources to find what you want. A keyword search function for Portfolio Tracking, or Balancing, or Diversification etc. would solve this problem, and save the 5i team some work, too. Or you could create subsections within each category, or just cull some of the older stuff...
Back to Antoine's question - he might look at Google Finance.ca which tracks not only dividends paid but dividends scheduled to be paid, once declared, and has a cool chart on your daily/weekly performance. Multiple portfolios for free. I also use Globeinvestor Gold, reluctantly because it's the best of the mediocre lot and definitely has its limitations and inaccuracies. I would love to have a tracker that amazes me with what it can do, and save me time on some calculations I must do manually now.

Q: re: F Ford
Doesn't appear to be much interest in our forum.
Do you have any comments on Ford moving forward over say... the next 3 years? Is it cheap at these levels? How do you see the auto industry in general over the next 3 years?
Thanks for all you do
