Q: I am in the process of rebalancing our portfolio and I want to sell about 1000 shares of ALA. As I will be at work when the market is open I am thinking of placing the order on the weekend. I assume the trade will happen when the market opens. Is it OK to do the order at market or should I sell at the bid price? Does it make sense to sell all 1000 shares at once or should I break it down into 2 lots of 500 shares each? You have cautioned in the past about "weird" trades at market opening.

Q: Hi Peter and Team, could you please give your thoughts on airlines or any other industry that stands to benefit from low oil prices. I'm looking for a shorter timeframe until oil recovers. Could you please recommend a couple of stocks, and whether you like US or Canadian companies in as I have some USD that I would like to invest.

Q: For 2014 you had been recommending HCG. Despite the stock and my position losing $10 a share since I bought it on your supportive advice last summer, what is your advice now on your 2014 recommendation. It takes a huge recovery in the stock price to make up for this current losing position from those who bought it last summer, or fall. I know the stocks history but more interested in your call on what to do now on this one.

Q: Is there some trick to hearing the seminar? I've registered, clicked on the appropriate link in the email that was sent, tested my speaker with the webinar program, but hear nothing, see nothing, and have no sense that the seminar is actually happening. anyone else confused?

Q: Just a further comment on short term parking rates. CIBC is offering 2% for deposits into a high interest (LOL!)account,regularly paying only 1.05% or so, but payable only until the end of March. Only worth the transfer if you have a substantial amount (i.e hundreds of thousands).

Q: I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for my question. I've signed up the for the dividend seminar tomorrow afternoon but I've found out that I have a conflict and won't be able to join it until halfway through or so. Will I still be able to join, albeit late? And will it be available to replay after the event?

Q: Member's question on rates. I use Peoples Trust daily interest savings account for the short term. The rate has been at 1.8% for many months. I also use their DI savings TFSA at 3%, again, in effect for a over a year.
They have had a special 2.45% rate on a one year GIC for a few weeks.
