Q: I would appreciate your opinion regarding the full year earnings report issued by DHX this morning. I have been accumulating DHX shares, buying on improving quarterly results and momentum and I would like to buy more but would first like to hear your thoughts on this rather exciting company. Thank you.

            Q: Hello team,
You recently recommended PRW,PLI and QST; to add technology stocks to the list, what are your thoughts on WAN, ESP or EXO-U? Do you like those names for a 2 to 3 year time frame?
Also, quickly on US bank Stocks knowing that you do not cover them, I have smalls positions on Keycorp (KEY) and FITB and was thinking of consolidating them into one with better growth potential, which one would you suggest I keep?
Thanks as always.

Q: What do you guys think of Power Corporation? Have you heard anything about a potential breakup of the company/do you think that would be a positive thing? Is it a buy sell or hold at these levels?
Thank you.
    Thank you.
            Q: Hi,
I am looking at setting up RESPs for both my children (both under 3 years old) and would like to set up the following asset allocation:
Cdn Equity 30% US Equity 30% Int'l Equity 30% and Fixed Income 10%
At 9 years old I would start converting more into fixed income.
No commissions are paid on ETF purchases.
I am comfortable with an aggressive approach.
I have two questions, if I may:
(1) Do you agree with this asset allocation strategy?
(2) Which ETFs (TSX only) would you recommend for each of these categories if you were buying in the next 3 months.
Thank you

Q: TN.UN True North Apartment. Although not alone TN has been swooning of late. Looking over past Q's I noticed you were waiting for the financials to assess the recent purchase. This looks like a classic 'cookie jar' stock. Great yield! Is the market going to slap my hand for buying it now? Should I wait one more Q?

Q: It's said that a buy time could be on a 10% index correction. Would that apply to individual stocks as well as the index. If so, that may make selected energy stocks a buy now.

Q: RE ACQ - you still have this stock rated a "B" which suggested to me it was a buy and as long as your rating has not changed, it still should be. I am down 25% since my purchase of ACQ while the market is down far less in percentage terms. Has anything changed in your ACQ analysis that we should have known about? Thank you

Q: The Russell 2000 index is now negative for the year and looks (to me) like a topping pattern. Is this likely to be an early warning?

Q: West Face capital has exited their position in MFI Maple Leaf Foods. How can one know who bought their shares, i.e. was it the McCain Family, or a mutual fund. Though the press was saying the shares tanked, they are not off by much. Wondering what's next with MFI.

Q: I need to add US and International Exposure to my locked in account. It is currently 60% cdn equity and 40% bonds and gics. I want to have fixed income remain at 40%. I want to reduce Canadian equity to 40% and add 12% US Equity and 8% other international equity.
1 Would ishares Core S&P Index (XSP) and ishares MCSI EAFE (XIN) index be appropriate?
2 Both are hedged to the Canadian $. Is that the best way to go? If the Canadian $ strengthens by 10% what effect can I expect to see?
3 Should I make this change in equal purchases of 1/3 of each index over 12 months?
Thanks for your help and great service
