Q: Could I get an update on NOV (NovX21, formerly Pro-Or) I've been watching it for some time and it certainly has a good idea and aparently they have proven the technology but I don't see where they are going to get the money from. Is it a high risk buy down at this low price.
Thanks Doug

Q: Hello and thank you for your work. There was an interesting guest on BNN talking about his bond fund and long/short strategies. Being quite hopeless with bonds, but thinking about some for a RRIF account. Is the fund ECF.UN a good fit.
Thanks D.V.

Q: It is becoming more common to use enterprise value/EBITA to determine if a stock is in a buying range. How does this compare with price/earnings and price/cashflow for the same company.

Thanks

Q: Hi Team..Can you tell me what the yield is on XFR (the Canadian alternative for FLOT) I do not have a U.S. account which leads me to my second question. Is it still a good idea (with the US $ being so high) to buy some US $ and put FLOT in a US account? I own CDZ and most of your income and growth portfolios but no bonds! Thanks so much for all that you do!

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan

Can I get your take on QHR's 2014Q1 results? They look decent to me, although the RCM business appears to be struggling and there was a loss in operating cash flow. Also, Telus - a much bigger company - appears to be QHR's main competitor in the EMR space. Is this something to be concerned about? QHR's revenue continues to grow and (at least in my view) has a strong balance sheet, so I have not been too worried, but would appreciate your input.

Thanks.

Q: iShares Oil Sands Sector Common (CLO.TO) -Toronto - Easy to replicate and save the fees. - See more at: https://www.5iresearch.ca/questions/symbol/clo#sthash.tMQxSzse.dpuf

Can you elaborate? My discount broker charges no commission for this one - I guess that's why the fee is so high. With pickings from
iShares Oil Sands Sector Common (CLO.TO) -Toronto
Vanguard Energy ETF (VDE) -NYSEArca
... do you think one could build a decent energy portfolio at lower cost? What metrics are most important for researching these cos?

Q: I hold a position in General Motors (GMM.U) that trades on the TSX in US funds. Several questions:
- is it possible for a company to trade in US funds on the TSX?
- would the dividends declared by GMM.U be deemed "eligible" dividends for Canadian tax purposes?
- What are your thoughts on GMM.U? Definitely tumultuous times given the recalls etc..

Thanks!

Q: Not sure if anyone else raised this point. With full respect I believe your May 15th comment on CHR.B changing the monthly payout to quarterly, should be the other way around (quarterly to monthly). If I have my wires crossed please count this as one of my questions.

Great Q&A , it is a pleasure to review at the end of each evening

Q: National Bank of Greece ( NBG-U.S.)
Big drop today.
Issuing more shares.
No Dividend
A lot of Government ownership.
Is this a viable investment for a long term hold?
Do you think Europe would allow it to 'fail'?
Thank-you, Robert
