Q: Hello Peter - We are considering buying either Tourmaline (TOU) or Paramount Resources (POU), or maybe half of each? Which do you prefer? or can you recommend something else.
Thanks for your advice.

Q: Hi Peter,
How about an update on Toscana Energy (TEI)? I believe the last one provided was in the Fall of 2013. Is the dividend sustainable and are your former partners at Sprott still involved with the company. Once again, THANKS for your great service and dedication to us small time investors !!!
Take Care
Dave

Q: Greetings 5-i:
I subscribe to an american investor service which recommends
only a few stocks, and which are well researched. The latest one
surprises me somewhat, so here I am for your opinion. GAZPROM
with the following metrics- Mkt cap 96.75B, yield 4.09% - P/e
3.66, EV/EBITDA- 2.34. I realize you specialize in canadian
listings and will obtain most of your info from BLOOMBERG,however, I am hopeing that you may have some knowledge of it from past experiences.
Thanks for your time,
BEN

Q: Bonterra Energy - is this a good entry point? Tx
Q: What is your view of LEG since its rise over the past three months? I have a 48% profit..do you see any more upside or is it time to take some profit? If so, what would be an equivalent name to reinvest these funds in? It is a 7% weighting in my TFSA...
Q: Re Energy stocks: Now that US investors have reportedly been buying our energy plays again and they have already run up considerably, retail investors seem to still be willing to chase/pay up for them. In your opinion, how much Iraq/Ukraine strife premium should we be factoring into these CDN energy stories and what do you feel we can expect if/when the risk premium settles down? Thanks
Q: Hi again 5i team,
This is a followup to yesterday's question re Journey Energy JOY. This morning JOY updated their website and unlike yesterday, there is now very good information re this newly 'IPO'd company. Even with the information publicly available now, I would still appreciate your expert opinion on their strategy and managment team.

Q: Hi Peter, Manitok Energy (MEI) has had a nice move up recently. Are you aware of any reason for the move? Are you still positive on this company?
Thanks and hope you are back on the bike soon. Rob

Q: Hi,
I prefer to buy my stocks on pull backs, instead of at 52 week highs, mostly to protect my downside, all other things being equal. I recently held my nose, and bought Delphi Energy, DEE.TO and am more or less even, today I bought Bellatrix, BXE.TO, on the pullback, figuring we may have bottomed.
My question is, continue to hold both, or sell my full position of DEE.TO and add to my BXE.TO to make it a full position.
These are my only Nat. Gas positions, and my only Oil position is a full position in Surge.
Many Thanks

Q: Hello Peter and Team,
Palliser Oil and Gas (PXL) has been unsuccessful in finding enough oil before the money ran out. It is such a low valuation now (.12)would you recommend selling or waiting another quarter or two? I hold 3000 shares (.09% of portfolio).

Q: Hi again Peter,
Another question on SGY (Surge). I was wondering if the dividend yield at around 8% is a little high. Should it not be in and around the 5% range? Seems like investors are actually saying the yield is unsustainable? Your comments are appreciated.

Q: Hi Team- comments on POU and the financing today - it seems that the nat gas is working higher. Is this a decent entry point?
Q: Peter,
Journey Energy (JOY) IPO'd last week @ $12.00 and a dividend yield of 6%.
I would appreciate your insight re this company. While I suspect it
may be too early to invest, it is on our Watch List.

Q: Do you have an opinion regarding the possibility of a royalty trust IPO for Canadian Natural Resources in the near future? Is the IPO already priced into the stock?
