Q: Could I have your perspective on today's market meltdown? .... certainly not a "Black Tuesday", but painful none the less.
Is there anything in your 2 portfolios that you would grab at these reduced prices?

Have read recent comments. I appears to me this is a solid company with good prospects moving forward and that you have confidence in having ET in the Income Portfolio.

I am sitting on cash waiting for an opportunity to reinvest "somewhere." I have been watching ET and have noticed it's recent slide. Would you recommend taking a position at this time or should I continue to wait and watch? Is there any other companies you feel I should be looking at that have recently come back/corrected? (hate using that word)

Q: I am a new sudscriber.
Re your model portfolio: I don't see the initial amount of money invested in each stock, the number of shares bought and the total at the start of the portfolio.
Given that the portfolio has had an 8.7% performance rate to date, how would one emulate this portfolio without coming in at a high level?
I look forward to being a subscriber to your excellent site that I have been aware of for some time now.

Q: Hi 5i Team,
I have been following CCL.B for a few months with the thought of purchasing a small position. Research shows it to be a good company but it has had a recent sell-off. Could you please give some insight regarding the recent sell-off and whether you think this is a good time to purchase for a 2 to 3 year hold.

Q: Hi Peter. I've been reading that the US has been steadily reducing its foreign oil imports from most countries except Canada. I'm sure Canada's turn will come. Oil prices are dropping. Do you see the cost of production in Canada too high and thus reducing profits for Canadian companies. I have done well with Surge and Suncor thus far. Would you recommend reducing my position in these companies. (taking some profits)

I am 61 and need to get more conservative. What are your thoughts on iShares XHY, CBO, CPD and XBB. I see XHY is in your income portfolio but it pays about 6% yet it price varies more than that over 52 weeks.

Should my full service broker charge me fees to buy iShares?

Q: Peter and Team--Looking at your Model Portfolio and the outstanding return --but there is 4 stocks that are negative since inception and 5 negative YTD--Since you are still holding them then you obviously still believe in them--would it not be a good idea for us to give serious consideration to buying them?
