Q: Peter; I put in for shares but as usual with hot issue received zip. And I’m a reasonably large account at BMO- they have lots of new issues but it’s a just a fact of life the retail investors hard ever gets in on a new,hot IPO. Rod
Q: MAGT: 5i produced an interesting article on the company. It appears you feel it could well be a good one. You indicated it is doing an IPO but gave no date for it. The article was published yesterday, April 27 and MAGT went public today, April 28. Why didn't the article include the IPO date? I'm sure many would have followed it this morning if we had known it was trading. Also, MAGT isn't recognized within the 5i system as a valid stock symbol. In future it would be useful to include IPO date, if known, in any article about a new company and also have the 5i system recognize the symbol from the get-go. Now that MAGT is trading, has it reacted as you thought it would?
Q: Hi,
I realize pre-IPO questions are challenging to answer but here goes. I've been reading about Telesat's plans to go public on the NASDAQ later this year "looking to raise new capital for its ambitious multibillion-dollar plan to launch hundreds of low-Earth orbit satellites." They will be used to provide high speed internet. This will put it in direct competition with Elon Musk's Starlink and Jeff Bezo's Kuiper Project, reportedly at half the cost (~$5B vs. ~$10B each for the others). Do you have any very early comments on the opportunity?
Thank you, Michael
Q: Would you buy Coinbase on the Nasdaq when it starts trading on Wednesday?
Seems like it may be a better way to play crypto currencies without actually buying them.
Q: Any idea when MDA will start trading? And, since the IPO price is way below the offering range would you buy on opening day? Are you concern on the low demand for the stock? Thanks.
Q: Good Morning, I recently read in the FP that the new CEO of Intel Pat Gelsinger declared that "Intel is back" - Do you think that he can turn things around to participate in the huge demand for chips, and is this the time to invest?
I also know that you are not a huge fan of SPACS, however I am intrigued about investing along side in Bill Ackman's Pershing Square Tontine - thoughts?
With thanks JS
Q: Vendasta has priced its IPO @14-16. Any opinion on it or any of the other tech names set to IPO in the article?

Q: I know that you usually like to give new "IPO's" a chance to settle in prior to making recommendations. Do you have any thoughts or red flags Regarding Arrival that is set to be listed under symbol "AVRL" on the NASDAQ come Monday. Their "micro" factory concept is interesting as well as being a bus manufacturer in this time of public transportation infrastructure spending.
As always, thanks for your steady hand and great advice.
Q: IAI currently state owned, but discussions about it going public in 2021. Will not be on US or CDN Markets. Tel Aviv and Frankfort stock exchanges expected. Need to know expected offering date and company 's 5i rating.
