Q: Hi If gold and silver do go up a lot do you think it is better to play the commodity or the miners? What are your thoughts on cef.a for the commodity or is it better to buy the physical metal?
thanks Ken
Q: Hello Peter, Mandalay exceeded the 50 day moving average today, share price stayed the same. I saw nothing on the wire, any news on your end? Do you still like this company?
Q: well yri is hitting new lows, morningstar(i don't know anything about these people) has a strong buy with a nav of 12.00 a buy at 7.20 and sell at 18.60, they have mothballed c1 santa luz and have all in costs of 825-875 per oz. their uncertainty rating(morningstars)is high. sure do like bargains but i really dont know as most hate the gold sector at the moment. guidance and opinion is of great help. tkx pat
Q: Hi Peter, Do you know what percentage of revenues come from K's mine in Russia? Given that the situation with Russia is getting worse and worse, I'm worried the company could very well be a candidate for expropriation. What are your thoughts on that and how much more downturn can the stock have if that were to occur?
Q: Do you see hzu as a good straight forward proxy for silver prices. And if so, how does the internals work to follow accurately those prices. Any lag? Any derivatives that could cause wild changes?.
And if I may, could you rank Silver Gold and Platinum in order of preference.
Thank you
CDJ
Is it finally time to buy CGL and SVR or is there still more downside coming? Or,is it better to buy the larger US versions GLD and SLV because of the rising US dollar? Do you see the dollar hitting 85 cents or lower?
Just a quick question about Rubicon Minerals. I realize that gold is continuing to take a pounding and is hurting all gold stocks ( producers and explorers) but this gem continues to pump out fantastic drill intercepts with high grams/ounces. The mill is supposed to be finished in mid 2015, they no longer require financing because of a share issue and a streaming deal with Royal gold. Lawsuit with the WFN was ruled in their favour too in Ontario Court (although it is being appealed). Do you still think it would be appropriate to throw in the towel on this one as per one of your earlier responses or would you possibly reconsider based on all of these recent positives in the last several months? If you were to recommend a few junior stocks would this be on your list? Seems out of favour with many mutual funds and am wondering why?
Thanks for all of your analysis. It is very helpful and appreciated.
Q: Could you please update me on alexco (AXR). I don't understand your june 19 answer about if silver at 19.45 they get 18.00 per ounce but if silver goes up or down they get less. At silver $35 per ounce they only get $3.90 per ounce.
I read the news release on the change and didn't understand that either.
What value does their mine and environmental clean up division have?

Q: Could you please give us your opinion on Capstone Mining after recent news. Is the share price freefall a result of this, or does it relate more to the collapse of commodity prices. Thanks, Mark
Q: Hello Peter and company. I was hoping to have your view on Teck Resources..TCK.A.. I am looking at cash levels and prices on its various business segments on a forward basis. It looks like there is a significant misunderstanding of impacts and there could be a floor and $21.00-$20.00 area. I already have a position. Is the Dividend safe in your view. Thank you Jason
Q: hello team,
I was wondering about Teck TCk.b. What is the future for itdo you think. i have been thinking about buying it my rrsp and immediatly afterward selling a corresponding amount it in my non registered account for a tax loss. Ican't see anything wrong with this strategy, although i could be missing something. sdo, my question mainly hasto do with how you see Teck

Q: Hi:
Congrats on a successful bike ride for the kids!!!!
My question is about Teck which had a high volume Friday and is falling to-day. It is setting new 52 week lows. Is there any news that is causing this sell off?
Q: Could I get an update on San Gold, specifically on Greg Gibson and his involvement with the company plus the combination of Sgr and Kerr. I was a big loser with SGR in the past but did very well with Trelawny when Greg sold it. He impresses me as a very honest knowledgable mining person. Thanks
Q: Hi all. I have held AEM (Agnico Eagle) and CS Cap Stone for about 3 months and am down about 25%. They just continue to go in one direction down. If you owned them - what would you do with them? Thanks Dennis
