Q: Hi Peter,
Do you expect gold and silver stocks to get hit with tax loss selling by year end again as was the case last December, and if so, would you expect a rebound in the new year? THANKS!

Q: What is the general outlook for this company. See as gold is out of favor, does this stock warrant owning at these levels? What is the P/E and P/B on this stock and what significance do these numbers mean? I am reading projections of a double on this stock my Q1 2015. What would have to happen in the market for this to happen? Is this company a take over target? Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i
I currently hold both model portfolios with SLW & G for 3% combined and FM for 2%. Do you believe that my position in gold is enough or would this be a good time to add XGD with it under $10 for a 2% position.
Thanks for your help

Q: Would investing with Cef.a be a safe means in accumulating bullion, short of buying the metal it self? Is there other means in the Canadian stock markek?

Q: final briefs have been submitted to the international tribunal in their case against the government of Mongolia for the expropriation of their licenses for the Dornod uranium mine. What are your thoughts in this resulting in a positive outcome? The results should be issued imminently.

Q: I'm a recent member , was backchecking on Sherritt and noticed a response from July 31st that identified S as more of a copper player when I understood it to be primarily a nickel play especially with the Madagascar site hopefully ready to produce when the market improves.
I've owned Sherritt for some time. Is it a keeper for the next 3 -5 years? Thks. Tony.

Q: Hi Peter and gang. Please ignore my earlier question as I have just learned, and it is my understandaing, that Largo did not appreciate and the discrepency in my valuation is due to a 1 for ten consolidation. However, I would still like your opinion on this stock going forward.
Many thanks

Q: Would you consider this a good time to buy FM in view of the article in the globe that states a "heightened level of risk" from a possible decline in copper prices following Zambia's decision on Friday to raise royalties for open pit copper mines to 20% from 6%." The price still appears to be going down.

thank you,

Q: Could I get your thoughts on Fortune Minerals (FT). Been watching them for years (since John Embry recommended them). Bismuth project sure looks good. They have recently bought a producing mine which looks good to me. Also can you explain how in INK research it shows 5 individuals plus Procon owning 37 million shares each and China mining with 15 million (adds up to 237 million shares) I don't see them having that many shares issued.
Thanks

Q: Hi Peter and 5iResearch team,
Can you please advise regarding the security of a purchase in ishares gold trust, IGT or SPRD Gold Trust, GLD relative to purchase of gold bullion itself. Do you think its a good time to purchase at these valuations primarily as a form of insurance. Also, do you think the recent increase in OPEC oil supply (and corresponding cheap selling in asian markets) in response to US production will continue longer term. Or is this a good buying opportunity?

Q: Please provide your thoughts on two funds in the precious metals sector.
1. Sentry Precious Metals Growth Fund
2. Precious Metals and Mining Trust

Are either worth keeping and are there EFT's that you would recommend instead?

Q: Hello,

Interesting times, and I'm already seeing opportunity, though am waiting.

I've recently read some bullish articles on SA with respect to Richmont Mines. The most recent article mentioned RIC upping their YTD production by 68% (http://seekingalpha.com/article/2552425-update-richmont-mines-reports-year-to-date-gold-production-up-68-percent).

I see many positives with this company (please correct if wrong):
- 32 million Cash
- low debt
- $800 / oz cash costs
- mines in Canada

Since 2012 I see 5i has a varied opinion on this stock, including it being a good takeover candidate. Could you update on your opinion of this gold stock?

Thanks,

Cam.
