Q: Best non-hedged ETFs in Canadian$ for the S&P500 and NASDAQ to be held in a TFSA?

5i Research Answer:

We would side with ZSP for S&P 500 exposure (non-hedged, stocks are held directly). XQQU for Nasdaq.

Note there are some options for exposure with NO distributions, and this will reduce withholding tax issues in a TFSA. HXS for the S&P and HXQ for Nasdaq. Fees are a bit higher here due to the swap arrangements done to eliminate distributions.
