Q: Regarding responses to questions on where to redeploy funds from Tricon, I did not see any reference to InterRent Real Estate Investment Trust. I already own Dream Industrial and plan to add, but to maintain exposure to residential real estate, does it also make sense to add to IIP.UN? Why or why not?

In some of our responses, we tried to suggest corporations, as TCN was not a REIT. But, in the real estate sector, there is limited choice. We are comfortable with IIP.UN, and would be fine adding it. It is one of the more expensive REITs on valuation, hence the yield is fairly low. But it is well-run and positioned well for gains as interest rates pivot.
