- AbbVie Inc. (ABBV)
- Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN)
- Brookfield Renewable Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BEPC)
- Lantheus Holdings Inc. (LNTH)
Q: I just sold the above stocks to harvest tax losses. I intend to repurchase them in 30 days. How important (or prudent) is it, in your opinion, to purchase proxies for them? What could you recommend if your feel it is useful to do so?

5i Research Answer:
It is a bit trickier because of the timing, as all three report earnings prior to a 30 day window if sold this week. Utilities do not really move that much, on average, and AQN/BEPC we think could be done without a proxy. LNTH tends to move a lot more generally. But the sector is beaten up, and not many are as cheap as LNTH right now. ABBV we think would be a safe place to go for 30 days.
