Q: With the energy sector on pause, is precious metals a good replacement, or can you suggest another. I generally buy on momentum.

If one is exiting energy we do think precious metals would be the best alternative. As rates peak and the US dollar weakens the sector should show good momentum.  Gold is close to new highs and acting well, and we think the sector is under owned.
