Q: Good Afternoon Peter
I already own a 1.5% position in Enghouse [ESL]. I am planning to put an additional 4.1% of my portfolio into other Infotech stocks and am focusing on Constellation [CSU], Open Text [OTC], and Descartes [DSG].
Would you spread the purchase over all three stocks or just pick one or two and what would your choice be?

Q: In considering a purchase of ESL, would the low trading volume be much of a concern?
I've also been looking at CHE.UN, and found that the distribution hasn't changed in at least 7 years. Would you anticipate any increases going forward?

Q: Reading through my Enghouse 2013 Annual report. EPS of 0.94 which is up 15% over 2012. This implies a P/E of 33.85/.94 = 36 times. With duplicate growth in 2014 of 15% this implies a P/E of 33.85/.94 X 1.15 = 31 times. QUESTION - Does 31 times not seem a little rich for forward earnings?

Q: How do you determine an entry point for a growth company such as ESL? Do you go in at market and ride it up or would you wait for a pullback to say the 50 day moving average? What I am asking, it seems to me that the buy point for a growth company is determined differently from a value stock? Thank you.
Q: I see that Enghouse is listed in the US as well, as EGHSF:PNK. Its US price history is similar to ESL:T but not the same. Can you tell me why they are different and does it matter which is bought (aside from the different currency risk)?

Q: I have been considering Enghouse (ESL) as I can now put some money in my TFSA. However, I noticed Descartes (DSG)and started comparing to ESL. I read your previous comments and they do not indicate any leaning to one or the other. The market caps are similar but ESL has a lower P/E. What is your opinion of these two? Thanks in advance.

STN's more costly shares are a drawback but how real is the risk of ESL CEO Mr. Sadler moving on to other ventures given recent ESL success?
