Q: Hey 5i, I sold my ACQ at $67 and $42 THANK YOU! I am holding BYD.UN at an upside of 143% AGAIN THANK YOU! I have taken profits on Boyd along the way but wonder what makes it different than ACQ which would help me decide to continue to hold it? Do you see continued growth and what red flags would I look for which would indicate a reversal in growth.

Q: I am considering selling my 2% position in WSP Global Inc and increasing my 2% position in BYD.UN to 4%.

I am looking for a minimum 15% ROE and I am disappointed with the performance of WSP and BYD has returned over 50% for me. I wonder if I am selling WSP too quickly.

Do you think BYD will have better returns than WSP over the next 3 years?

Q: Boup Group has proven to be a great investment over the last couple of years. I anticipate that this winter's weather, if we enjoy polar vortex activity, should see some bitter weather and a brisk business for the auto repair industry. However, taking a longer term view, I have to wonder how the technological developments in self-parking, danger alarms, back-up obstruction sgnals etc. will impact the accident rate and therefore the auto repair business.
Would you please comment on these issues and provide your two to five year view of BYD.UN?
With appreciation for your significant support for the retail investor.

Q: In addition to the secondary offering of units and debentures, Mr Cheskis has offered 200k of his Boyd Group units for sale, once again, leaving him with just 218k holding. Should it be a concern? With this offering, units today, have traded as low as $42.15, with a high of $47.90, not long ago. With so much volatility, do you still consider it as a stable investment with decent upside in future? Is it a strong buying opportunity @42.50 or or still has downside risk? Do you think co. has taken too much debt? Thanks for your valuable insight.

Q: I just happily renewed my subscription to 5i. Thanks for the reminder.

Question regarding BYD.UN (Boyd Income Group): Can you provide this year and next year's expected earnings per share estimates? My Investor's Edge and iTrade don't seem to provide this info for this stock. My best estimate is $2.10 for this year and $2.35 for next year which would give Boyd an 18ish p/e for 2015 with still lots of predictable, repeatable growth in the subsequent years. Am I in the ballpark or out to lunch?

Thanks.
