Q: Hello Peter
Thank you for starting this company, it is a great resource for small investors at a great price.
My question is about Student Transportation Inc. (STB-T) I have owned this stock for several years, have a nice capital gain and the stock has a nice yield. However some analysts say it has too much debt and should sell it others think it's OK. to hold for the dividend. I am confused can you elaborate more.
Thank you.
David.

Q: Regarding MCAN Mortgage, MKP, how would you expect it to be impacted by the mortgage changes, positively, negatively or at all. Thanks for your input.
Q: Chorus
So hard to value because of too many moving parts and unknowns.
Your opinion will be appreciated

Q: Hello Peter: I would appreciate you thoughts on TEVA. BUY,SELL,HOLD. Thank you
Q: I would like your opinion on Genworth (MIC). Has a nice dividend and seems like a good value. Wondering how it might be affected by new mortgage rules and "reining in" of CMHC by the feds? Thanks
Q: Peter,
GMCR was a darling stock and I think it was one of your/Sprott's favorites at some point. With a precipitous drop of more than 70% do you think it still fits the profile of a growth stock for future or it is a dead-end story stock of yore. Also what do you think about TOT at the current level? Thanks

Q: HCG Group: Will the tightening of mortgage restrictions announced by Flaherty favourably impact HCG and would now be as good a time as any to establish a position in HCG?
I've been a fan of yours for years, owned your Sprott Fund until you closed it. I appreciate what you are doing for Canadian investors.

Q: I bought Niko resourses (TSE:NKO) few months ago based on suggestion of few advisers last month. It went down prettyt hard recently. My average is 50$. Is it better to take the loss and sell my holdings, or wait for a recovery? Thank you
Q: Hi, with the tense political situation between Iran and west, and that they did not come to an agreement in last week meeting in Moscow, there is a sanction for Iranian oil export to Europe scheduled to commence on July first. With this assumption that oil will go up due to the sanction, I am shorting TSE:HOD with a 5% cost of burrowing. I am considering that contango effect on the etf will be on my side too. What is your thought? Thank you
Q: What is your opinion of Northern Power (NPI)?
Q: Staples (SPLS) USA-been hurt a lot lately due to business in Europe and integration concerns of recent acquisition, I think? Pays nice dividend and almost at 2008 price low. I am thinking of taking a position to deploy US cash from sales on MO and PM at a very nice gain.(had 4 3 yr.) Your comments please-James.
Q: Russel Metals (RUS) I have held for 3 yr or so-> dividend last yr.-cost incl. dividends is $12.50. I think it still has room to move over the next few yrs. Your thoughts please-thank you James.

re :WND
I have questioned a lot lately some investments in the US because right or wrong,i thing there is a negative bias against Canadian companies. I used to own Romarco (sold), it went through extremely stringent requests for permitting and always when it seemed everything was fine. Ditto for tso3(sold) which i gave up 3 days ago. Ditto for Western Wind(sold) as they have not received their $9000000 in federal compensation which was supposed to arrive 90 days after documents were filed. I am expecting request for further documentation even if the manager of their investor relationship guaranteed me there was no problem. Ditto for Duluth (sold).
It may be creepy but so much is going on those days..
You can publish if you want. Up to you..

Q: Re: MT, Miranda Tech - I offered my shares at the offer price and am surprised that the order was filled. Is this usual or does it indicate that there might be a competing bid?
Q: Interested in your view on CHW and ECI as both appear fairly stable and have nice dividends. Thanks.
