Q: This is a call for information about something going on with my BMO Investorline account.
I have seen over the course of the past year and some.. a complete abandonment of a true report of real prices on the bid and ask of my level 2 listings. Prices are all over the place and there is no more price discovery.
To make things even more challenging, the real time quotes are very often showing absolutely different bid and ask prices than the one from the level 2. A multitude of call to BMO has gone nowhere and I am planning an exit from my account, but no idea where to go!
So my question to the community is: Do anybody has a significant difficulty with the bid/ask from their broker, and who has not seen any discrepancy on their bid/ask, it will help any further move out of BMO.

Q: Thanks to your great service I have held CSU since mid 2012 and have been buying on the small pull backs. Currently at 6% weight. It has stalled or dropped over the last 6 months and have been patient because it has been such a good performer but is it time to move on with some or all?

Would appreciate your thoughts re longer term safety of distributions and financial strength of Artis Reit (AX.UN)(assuming we get increasing interest rates and ultimately a recession).
Average term to maturity of mortgages is only 4.4 years .
Would not consider buying until after rates move up some ,price goes down and yield goes up (willing to let train leave without us).

In the article it mentions that Inovent is going to do a reverse take-over and then JetLiner is able to become a publically traded company.

My questions are:
(1) what do you think of the business model of JetLiner and can it be successful in an tough airlines environment
(2) based on the deal with Inovent, is it a good stock to participate in the IPO?

Q: CTL.US I have held Century Link mostly for income for some time. I do not see a reason for today's pop. Can you please enlighten me and advise if I should sell into it or hold. Is the reason likely to be a catalyst for more growth? Thank you, Gayle

Q: Concerning Petro One Energy (POP). Can you comment on the latest press release. Should I move on or hold. Where do you see a fair value on the share price now and a 12 month target.

Q: I have a full position in Russel Metals that includes a 25% gain, and I have a half position in Stella Jones that involves a 5% loss since purchase. I'm thinking of taking half off RUS and topping up SJ as it is cheaper on a PE basis and perhaps RUS has topped here. Would you make this move now, or after SL earnings, or not at all?

Q: Am I correct in assuming that the price of Bell Aliant (BA) continues, and will continue, to fluctuate because of the underlying share price of BCE, since BCE shares are part of the buyout package?

Secondly, as I own BA in a taxable account, is it best to continue to hold BA and wait until the deal closes in order to collect the higher BA dividend as well as get BCE shares on a tax free basis? (I am assuming that the BCE shares coming to me will be tax-free).

Q: Good day...I hold mda, sj, bdi, and esl and have most of this year all are down 5 to 7% is this a worry at this time. All of these are in rsp so selling is not a tax issue...cheers

Q: With AYA having received regulatory approval does that mean all the hurdles have been crossed and the deal will actually close in September. I am thinking of adding to CF and was waiting to make sure that they would get their big payoff from the AYA deal. Thanks so much.

Q: We have been holding ZWB and ZWA for income in RRIFs and non registered accounts. I am considering replacing these with individual securities for ZWB and possibly ETF,s for US exposure. (ZWA) Any suggestions? We hold BNS and most securities in both 5 I portfolios. We also have CIQ.UN in all portfolios but TFSA's. Soon there is an option to redeem at NAV (an annual feature) I am thinking of redeeming and concentrating on 5i portfolios. Any thoughts. Thanks for all that you have done for us. I am waiting for the day 5i will critique our portfolios.

Q: Hi, I know you don't cover this junior I'm just wondering if you have any insights on Elgin Mining (ELG) that's being bought out @ 0.37 cash but its trading @ 0.42. It looks as though both parties are liking it but why the trade up? I can't find anything saying the transaction is negative by management or shareholders, lawsuits etc. Should I continue to hold for a better offer?
