Q: Hi: In the Tech sector I currently have CSU and MDA at 3% each, and ESL,GIB,OTC and DH at 1.5% each or 12% of my total portfolio in Tech stocks. I am thinking of selling one to reduce the number of stocks, while buying more of some of the remaining stocks. Perhaps to increase my overall tech exposure as well.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Also, do you consider AYA to be a Tech stock or a Consumer stock assuming the acquisition goes through.

I recently came into $23k US which is pure investment money. I do not need it for anything else. I would like to keep it in US funds. Are there any screaming buys out there for growth and/or income that I could park the money and watch it grow?

Q: As a starting investor I had a small amount of capital in the form of an RRSP contribution and have bought equities, however I need to keep adding to my portfolio as I have only just begun investing. Thanks to your team some of my stocks have done quite well and based on the 10% limit I should be trimming positions in them but my long term goal would be to have more shares of the equities in question so would have a hard time selling shares in these companies with that goal. Yet, I do not have enough capital to buy enough of my other investments to bring these weightings back below 10%. What is a good strategy to move forward? Do you recommend small monthly contributions or save until I have a designated amount to contribute say $5000?

Q: I just thought I would add a bit to Jeremy's question in regards to making a " In Kind" transfer of shares from a margin/cash account into a TFSA. This move is considered a deemed disposition by CRA and any gain is taxed accordingly however, what is interesting is that if shares that are in a loss position are transferred to the TFSA CRA does not allow the tax loss (so gains are taxed but you don't get the tax benefit of a loss) something to consider before moving shares that currently are down.

Q: I'm looking to buy some US Stocks. I'm relatively young and also being risk tolerant, I'm looking for medium-to-high growth stocks for the long term.

I know you mentioned many US stocks on this service, but of the ones on your purview, can you give me a few names that are good and high growth on the US exchanges?
