Q: Hello, I have read your previous post on WEQ and has there been any change to warrant the 10% drop in the past 6 weeks. Is this a sit a wait for the acquisitions and new CEO to settle in?

Q: I've held for a few yrs now: been going up like crazy: high debt., high PE, but high ROE of 108% (have they been buying back a lot of stock?). I've held as conservative play in my USD portfolio. Has it been going up because of dividend and considered safe play? I am thinking of selling at this price and holding the cash for an opportunity in the midst of this market correction?

Q: My mining sector holdings including Yamana and Teck are down but still make up 6% of my portfolio. I'm fairly diversified but very light on Healthcare. I like dividends with some growth but am not risk averse. I have about a half position of cash to invest. Should I top up the mining sector or should I spread out to healthcare? If healthcare, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bar released drilling results this morning. Q: I have been a VV subscriber for many years. The timing models are useful to indicate the where things are going but I do not buy or sell any more just solely on the indicators. I don't think that VV would recommend that either. The strength of VV is the Unisearch. I use it to identify when to buy stocks and it is very useful. I have built my own screening models within VV and it has helped me to find stocks that are about to turn. The most important point is that you cannot rely on only one service. I subscribe to 6 pay services including 5i as well as numerous free services. I also watch BNN and CNBC.

Q: Iona Energy (V.INA) has taken a large hit today on some bad news on the Huntington Field. The CATS shut down had been anticipated, although now for a longer period of time, but I imagine that the market does not like the talk of the Noreco write down on Huntington. I was hanging to my shares for a possible recovery due to the positive cash flow and the change of management earlier this year. Is that still a prudent course of action or should I sell into the next bounce and put those funds to work somewhere else?
