Q: Hi Peter,
So frustrated with this stock. I have held it for years. You seem
to like it very much. reports more and more positive things happening. And after a big downturn and good earnings and a good couple days in the market. Down we are! Watching volume the last couple days. Huge. Are we being held down so some one can buy in cheap?

Q: You have probably answered this several times b4 but I couldn't find anything related so sorry for a likely repeat. I'd like some information on the MER that is quoted for a mutual fund or index fund. Some quote a MER of say 2.13% and others (like Vanguard) at 0.10%. Are these really the same thing and does this mean if I put $10,000.00 in each of these I am charged $213 in the first and $10 in the second (Vanguard)? Also is that charge very year or just a one time charge when I put money in assuming both are no load? Thanks. Much appreciated.

I've owned KBL K-bro Linen for three years or so and have seen a nice increase in value and a healthy dividend. Its seems to have plateaued and stayed steady lately (which is fine!) but I am wondering if I could get better return by switching my 4.6% weighting in KBL to CSH instead. Thoughts?

Q: What is your opinion on this new ETF for an investor that expects oil prices to increase in the long term. Also, why the significant increase in price today despite being advertised as a non-leveraged ETF?

Q: Hi guys. Any red flags with High Liner's results? Is lowering the company's debt levels from 4.4x to 4x from the end of 2014 to the end of 2015 acceptable progress in lowering debt levels?

Lastly, when companies announce share buybacks, they normally say they may purchase up to a maximum number of 5% or 10% of the shares outstanding. Now normally, come the end of the year, most of those same companies dont come anywhere close to fulfilling the maximum number of shares they could have purchased. So given there is no obligation to purchase the maximum number of shares in the NCIB plan, any ideas why would High Liner Foods announce a share buyback program with the ability of only buying 150,000 shares, or 0.86% of the company's float?
