Q: I have been following Chemtrade CHE.UN for sometime looking to add to my RRSP on a pullback. Like it for its good and stable yield. I noticed you cover Canexus CUS in your summary and it looks like a similar company with comparable yield. Which of these would you prefer and which would provide better growth in price and dividend. I notice that CUS has had quite a sell off recently. Is this a good buying opportunity.

Q: Can you provide your current opinion on Canwell (CWX) and how safe the dividend is? I've owned it for awhile, but have got burned a few times on stocks with high div yields. I do want to stay in this sector, so please advise if there is a safer stock in this sector. Thanks so much for providing this service! John

Thanks

Q: I claimed my membership fee on my 2012 taxes, and had no issue. I was not audited of course, but I have claimed similar type services in the past with the assumption that they are advice based rather than just information, especially when I can ask direct investment related questions and get direct responses. If audited I would print the e-mail responses I get as receiving direct advice. My opinion at this point of course, since I was not audited, but should I be, I would remain firm it is not just an information source. - Cheers.

Q: Valener Inc [VNR] has dropped down a bit after a long stretch in the $16 range. Its position, in a registered account, is ~2% and I use this investment for income. At your convenience could I have your update on the company? I'm wondering if I should not increase my position in that company? I also hold IPL.UN and PPL.
Thank you,
Ron

Q: Hi,
Regarding AYA and it's move to the TSX; would this increase the likelihood of it becoming a dividend payer in the future; if so, any idea when (i.e. what kind of data points would lend themselves to determining this)? I know the financials and company strategy don't lend themselves to this right now but I would be curious as to your thoughts on this.
Thanks for the awesome service!
Cheers,
Mike
