Q: with all the garbage going on with martin rea what are the chances that somebody in upper management and possibly people on the board get their ass booted to the curb. If blue collar workers did this i know they would be in the unemployment line. For the auto companies having the best run in years and they have to fudge results what a joke, what a bunch of morons. thanks.

Q: Hi Team. I am heavy into REITS, oil producers and pipelines. I want to take about 1/4 - 1/3 of my portfolio and diversify into about 4 stocks in other sectors that have good potential for growth in the next 2 or so years, and preferably (but not absolutely) have some dividend. Can you suggest 4-6 stocks from your model portfolio, or stocks that you would consider healthy enough to be on your model, that I could consider for this transition. Also, would you make this move now, or wait until January (I'm not worried about taxes). Thanks as ever.
Q: Waterfurnace (WFI) has been under pressure lately . It has behaved like this a number of times and each time was a buying opportunity. Is this time any different .

Q: I'm looking for monthly income. What stocks in your coverage or not currently covered do you recommend?
Q: MCR and E (Macro Enterprises and Enterprise Group). After sharp increases in share price both of these stocks have flattened out and are trading within narrow ranges. Would you interpret this to be a good time to buy these stocks? i.e. in anticipation of another significant leg up?

Q: Hi Peter,
In your reply to Marc, Nov 29th, you were comfortable with the price of STN at $68 given its growth and fundamentals. Morningside estimates earnings of $3.17 for 2013 giving a p/e of 21.5. Their estimate for 2014 is only $3.57 a growth of 13%. I am wondering what kind of growth in earnings you would estimate for 2014, and what p/e is reasonable.
Many thanks
Mike

Q: Hi Peter and team and all the best of the season to you...
What do you think of Rio Tinto? I have been holding it for some time and am wondering whether I should continue or if I should bail out since it hasn't performed well.

Q: I liked your 18 Dec answer to the question about Ford Equities sell recommendations. They had a sell on Pembina Pipeline earlier this week, after which my 900 shares popped up from $34.52 to $36.47 as of yesterday. Nice work Ford, I'll keep an eye out for your 'sells'! - Ted
Q: All things considered, technicals, fundamentals, and current outlook for the global economy and stock market would you say it's an opportune time to take a full position in your Model Portfolio or a half position? Why?
Q: goodday, ive held MUX for several yrs. most of the shares were bought at 4.50, participated in the rights issue @ 2.30 plus, and today there at 1.90 or so. they are probably a victim of tax-loss selling and just a terrible 2013 for gold and silver.iwant to avg. in again before tax-loss season is over. good/bad idea. I plan to hold this stock forever if I have to.
