Q: Do you think Surge Energy is worth holding at current levels given the risk of a dividend cut? I understand their hedging program but as investors continue to panic sell the yield has become noticeably high...knowing the company the way you do, what is your best advice. Q: On BNN you mentioned that we were probably in the sixth inning for auto related stocks. Are you making a correlation to baseball? Or does this refer to 6th inning out of 10 in business terms.

Q: With just a 1% weighing in crew and the apparent stock momentum on crew, would you buy more to average down the cost. I know you prefer stocks that are going up but it seems to have some momentum.

Q: What is happening to the price of silver?
Most if not all major silver producers have an all in costs that are higher than the $17 spot silver price.
Is this a buying oppotunity that comes once in a lifetime, or a slippery slope to the poor house? How long could this inverse last? Look at First Majestic's chart, it's getting very expensive to me..

Q: I am looking at purchasing 2000 shares of Surge Energy. This will be the one energy company in my portfolio. It will be 7% of the total investible assets. I am looking at holding for 2 years or longer. I like the dividend. I see the company released information about the low oil prices this evening, and their thoughts on this and how it will effect their investments in the future, and the safety of their dividend. What are your thoughts. New member yesterday and I am greatly impressed with your comments on Market Call yesterday. A great website.

Q: Sorry to bring this up again. I'm just unsure of what to do with this position. In your previous response for a longer term it seems like good value at the time. Since then the stock has just dropped like a stone. I should have stayed away since your "D" rating is pretty clear, but i didn't. What do you recommend to be done now? can this rebound or is this company set to disappear? it's a shame as it's a great technology that they have. Thanks for your great service. My return on DHX has been amazing and I would have never picked it up if it wasn't for you.

Q: Hello Peter and team,
I have a small holding in Contrans. I have not yet tendered to the offer but I want to get out in the near future, whether it is by tender on the 31st or into the market. Do you have any suggestions about whether to sell before the 31st, tender on the 31st (hoping they reach the 2/3 threshold) or sell next week?
This is my first experience with a takeover of a stock and a question has come up for future reference: if I tender does it become a binding agreement or can I subsequently sell my shares on the market if the offer is extended?
