Q: Protech Home Medical (ticker now PTQ) just released their YE results. With the SP up 14% and trading volume more than twice its daily average in the first two hours, the market is clearly impressed so I would appreciate your analysis. As the turnaround under new management appears to be well underway, is there a chance that you might re-visit this company?

Q: The above listed companies have (I think) been recommended by you over the last year as small caps with growth potential. All are down in the dumps at the moment and I am wondering which, if any, would you now recommend for growth over the short term (one year)

Q: I have significant tax loss on PHM, losses that are not usable. I have reduced my position but still have a large quantity of shares such that a penny makes a difference to me. Is it worth to wait and see (ride it out)? Does PHM.ca even have a PULSE or was this whole thing a scam? Very difficult to find info on PHM and they don’t want to respond to questions on next date it will report results.

Is it worth keeping VMD.ca the split-off company – Viomed seems to have some activity but if the same people are behind it , is it vulnerable or does it have some reasonable prospects for future growth?

Q: Before the split, an old PHM share was worth ~31 cents and post split (1 new PHM @ 21 cents and 1/10 VMD @ 30 cents - 1 share currently $3.00) that share is now worth ~51 cents. Is my math correct in that the shares basically increased by 20 cents or 64.5% post split? if yes, can you explain why such a big increase. Thanks

Q: Hello 5i,
can you help explain the fundamental service offering differences between these two companies. In my view they seem to be direct competitors to one another with little to differentiate them. Is the revenue model different between the two? What did PHM do to fall from grace? Which one would you invest in for a long term hold?
thanks

Q: PHM finally split yesterday. Should I keep both, PHM & spin off Viamed. Thanks!
As a result of the Arrangement, among other things, shareholders of PHM (the "Shareholders"), as of close of business on December 21, 2017, received one new PHM common share (a "New PHM Share") and one-tenth (1/10) of one common share of Viemed (a "Viemed Share") for each common share of PHM held by such Shareholder immediately before the completion of the Arrangement.
