Q: I would like to get your opinion on BMAX. It's only been in existence sine August 2022, but the returns, including dividends, have been excellant. Dividends are approx 10% and it's diversified geographically in the US, Europe and Canada. Is this a growth or income or both ETF.
Q: I have cash in my portfolio. I am looking for a multi asset ETF. Ideally, I would like a 1 ticket multi asset ETF that has a category / asset class of "alternatives". (ie private equity) Is this available on the TSX? Could suggest 2-3 multi asset ETFs. If these ETF do not include "alternatives", are there any ETF that specialize in "alternatives" ie private equities not tied into the market. I understand liquidity may be an issue for such an ETF. Thank you
Q: RE these 3 investment companies, which do you think is the best to invest in for high yield and modest growth: Harvest funds, Hamilton funds, Brompton funds. Thanks
Q: I hold a significant amount of those 3 ETF in my non registered account + RRSP.Assuming that ROC represents a large part of the dividend ( true?),I suppose that we could tolerate a "reasonable or slight" réduction of the NAV ,compensated by the much lower income tax + partial compensation of capital gain if eventually sold .Those advantages are not present in the RRSP , maybe should I reduce the % of covered call ETFs in the RRSP if the NAV is not stabilized... Please comment ( or criticize ! )my observations since I am far from being an expert, regards J-Y
Q: I noticed that the MER of " funds of funds" ( covered call funds here )was always high, around 2.5%,compared to simple covered call funds from the same Cies ( around 0.8%).Could you explain this difference,is it then justified?
Q: Hello 5i,
What do you think about BMAX for income? How do they achieve a current dividend yield of 9.24%. Is there a return of capital? Thanks. Cheers
