Q: Hi, love the website, I am up over 50% on Parkland PKI after years of using a DRIP, although I am tempted to sell at prices above $19.00 I still like the company and their story. What would be your opinion? Thanks for your time.

Q: Happy New Year 5i! My husband and I are going to put the full $5500. into each of our TFSA accounts. We are 67 and 69 years of age and fully retired. We still would like growth and income in these accounts as we hope that we won't have to touch these accounts for some years to come. What would you recommend for us? We are so appreciative of the excellent advice that you offer.
Q: The Parkland addition of Elbow River looks great, don't all press releases sound terrific. Is this a good purchase, I'm already happy I own the stock, is this just more good news.
Thanks
Kyle

Q: Firstly, thanks for the great service you are providing to us retail investors. I am spreading the word. My question is:
PKI seems to be stalled at the 17 dollar mark for the last 3 months or so. It has grown a ton in the last year. Is this just consolidating here before more growth or do you think it's growth has peaked?

Q: Your recent report on PKI mentions a dividend payout ratio of less than 60%. By my calculations you are using something other than Earnings in your formula. As a new member, could you please explain what you include/exclude in your payout calculation. Thank you.
Q: Hi Peter
Can you comment on the large share trade in PKI today, which temporaily took the share price down to $14.10. Also, do you see this as overpriced in over $17.00 price?
Thanks
Gil

Q: I have purchased shares in PKI. There is a nice cash dividend. There is an offer for investors to join a DRIP which would increase the dividend by 2%. This is tempting. It looks like this offers expires on June 20th. What are the cons to doing this? Do I become locked in? Please give me your opinion.
Q: Parkland Fuel (PKI). I am just starting to take "ownership" of my portfolio and I hardly have financial analyst skills. However, I noticed the following about Parkland:
- it is trading near its 52 week high
- it had over $200 million in intangibles on its balance sheet
- its P/E ratio seems high and the forward P/E is less
- its dividend exceeds its profit. I don't really understand the theory of ignoring non-cash expenses in determining an appropriate distribution amount, unless the actual requirement for repair/replacement is less than the recorded distribution.
Am I being too cautious?

Q: Is Parkland Fuel taking a hit because of oil prices? Yesterdays earnings were decent.
