Can you give me your insight on CVS Health Corp for the next 6 to 12 months if the US dollar stays strong against other currencies?

Q: With lots of bad guys around and government looking for ways to save money. I was wondering if this is a buy. Also, would a corporation like this have better success with rehabilitating criminals. After all, budgets would probably prefer a system that doesn't promote burgeoning prisons, which create heavier tax burdens, and a reformed individual is a potential tax payer as opposed to a tax drain. Also do you find the company expensive?

Q: Hello 5i,
I am preparing for the new upcoming 5i portfolio and would like to find 25 US based stocks, as I like to diversify 50/50. A list of US names would be greatly appreciated, as many as you can comfortably give.
Many Thanks

Q: I am looking to increase my exposure in my registered plan to the US market and in particular to the healthcare sector. I am retired and looking for income and some growth. I am considering Johnson and Johnson. Please provide your thoughts on this company and recommend alternatives if you believe there is a better choice.
Thank you for a great service.

Q: Hi Peter and Team,
I bought Gild six month ago, and the stock is not moving.
I am tempted to switch to Biogen as I see it as a better over all alternative in the same sector although it has gone up recently. I noticed that you favor ISIS.
I appreciate your advise.

Q: You spoke favourably on a couple of US stocks recently. CEMP which I am up 25% on (thank you very much), MTSN (Mattson) which I am taking quite the haircut on - what do you see with these two stocks going forward? Also, do you have more momentum stocks similar to CEMP?

Q: Good Morning Peter & team,

Have read two articles this morning - Seeking Alpha & Daniel Miller - both prognosticating F could be a $35+ stock in a year - 2 years time.

Their forecast goes to the fact F has poured a considerably amount of cash into their ailing Pension Fund over the past 3 years with that lessening moving forward increasing cash flow significantly. They also speak to a decreased cost base by a reduction in the platforms being used, and despite China not necessarily being tremendously healthy right now, it still generated almost 4 million more in new car sales than the US, that this should only increase in the coming years, and that the majority of these sales were in the more profitable SUV/PU.

You mentioned in your answer Feb 11 you felt F was better than GM as far as being a keeper but, you also mentioned it was a little expensive.

Has your opinion changed at all since then? Do you still consider it expensive? Would you be comfortable recommending F as a buy? And finally is there anything else we should know before taking a new position in F today?

Thanks for all you do

Gord

Q: I have a sizeable position in Qcom and I am under water in what I accepted to be a cyclical stock. After all the damage done in China , and after holding out against Asian competitors coming from all sides , it seems that Intel is going to be swooping in on the Apple . Is losing the iPhone chip business going to murder the stock price of Qcom ? ( I am still hurting big time from my GTAT loss ) .... Would you be a Seller here ? Thanks,

Q: Hi all,
ISSI a small us tech company is taken over by a consortium. ISSI Enters Into A Definitive Merger Agreement To Be Acquired By Consortium For $19.25 Per Share

Following the announcement I received roughly 15 email alerts of law firms launching investigations of the deal. This seems to confirm the feeling I have - 20% premium over Wednesday price isn't much.

Now what to do? I worry if I hold and the deal collapse investors will punish the stock due management not working in shareholders best interest. Any chance of better deal in this case? Thanks

Q: I own 275 shares and thinking to sell, reasons are I don't shop there at all and when I have, I find it time consuming and confusing. Is that a valid reason or should I just go by the numbers- revenue, balance sheet and so forth...
