Q: Hello 5i,

Do you have a few biometric companies you like for growth in the sector? After reading this article, I would like to keep my eye on a few with some good potential. Cdn or US stock, either will do. Thanks for the excellent service. Gerald

Q: Hi guys,

I don't that your service doesn't focus on U.S. stocks, but my question is more of a conceptual one. I own J&J and Abbott Labs in the Healthcare space in the U.S. They both have over 50% of their sales outside of the U.S. With the rising U.S. dollar, would it be prudent to switch the more domestically focus healthcare companies, such as CVS since I want to maintain my exposure to the Healthcare sector.

Thanks,
Jason

Q: hello 5i team

GILD is down 10% for the month. it appears reasons given as per the info i can find are;

slowing prescription sales on the hep C drugs
a 4 BB debt offering in Nov which investors didnčt like even though it appears to be money raised to repay existing debt
and there has been some modest insider selling

I am keenly interested in this company as it appears according to reports, Gilead - which has from what I can see the only effective Hep C drug on the market at this time - has treated a mere 3% of the US's total pool of HCV patients. Plus, am I wrong in thinking that insurers will have to include the GILD Hep C treatment drugs on their approved list sooner rather than later

With this info and any other you may have at your disposal, what would you recommend... buy, hold or sell.

Thanks for all you do

Gord

Q: Hi,Guys, hope all is well in your world.

I'm an investor in Greenbrier and Trinity, and I understand the relative relationship of these manufacturers to the recent decline in oil prices, however, their price declines have been quite dramatic. Given the fact that the manufacture of the newer oil rail cars will be government mandated,is this a panic reaction or possibly that there may be a delay in timing the manufacturing process?
Thanks for your great work, Slainte and a Merry Christmas
