Q: Hello 5i,
in your opinion what stocks would be the best way to play the nickel sector ? would it not appear to you that this sector could be very explosive to the upside , especially if things unfold like they might ? ie...markets stay positive , Indonesia
stands firm on their ban, supply shortages, Phillipines ban, etc etc.
has your views on Sheritt Inter. (S) changed from your earlier comment May-2014, Also , could you comment on Talon (TLO), i know it is very spec. but are they off to a good start ?, management, grades, deposit type, future plans, balance sheet to carry out futute plans, red flags, etc thanx Norm

Q: tor (tsx) recently merged with another australian mining company and the new ticker is her on the tsx. This is early stage but has much of the existing infrastructure still in place. Small penny stock but looks interesting, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Peter,
What happened with Argonaut gold on Friday? Share price spiked and then the stock was halted on the TSE. The price did come down but still closed up 7 %. Just wondering if I should take by 13% profit now or is something exciting about to happen.

Q: you commented on YMI in May 2012. Has anything changed here other than the extremely high cost of putting the mine in production. also would much higher commodity prices attract more attention to what looks like a mine? Thanks

I'm fairly certain you'll need a microscope to find this one, but I thought I'd try anyway. TVI Pacific (TVI) This has been sitting in my portfolio for "at least" 15 years and has done exactly nothing. I'm still surprised that it even trades. Q: Question on Nevada Copper (NCU-T) - would love to hear your thoughts on the name and if you would view the recent pullback towards the 200-day as a buying opportunity. Would have expected stronger performance after the positive permitting news released on July 30th. Is this a short term buying opportunity before final Senate decision this fall?

Q: I know you are not a fan of IMG Iamgold but they came out with stellar earnings this morning. Franco Nevada is shoring up its war chest. Could they be interested in IMG? After IMG screwing up for so many years perhaps they learnt something just like SW sierra wireless did. Of course no comparison between tech and gold!
