Q: Can you provide the % of US sales for these 2 growth stocks. Presumably the weak CDN $ could give earnings a nice boost. Currently building positions.

Q: RE ACQ - you still have this stock rated a "B" which suggested to me it was a buy and as long as your rating has not changed, it still should be. I am down 25% since my purchase of ACQ while the market is down far less in percentage terms. Has anything changed in your ACQ analysis that we should have known about? Thank you

Q: I haveno health care exposure and was thinking of adding Pfizer and Gilead Science to the US side of my portfolio.what are your thoughts on this? Also I bought BAD, ACQ and LNR when they were very high recently and am down about 30 percent in them. Would this be an opportunity to double down or do I just wait them out? It was bad timing on my part and am wondering if there is a way I can fix my mistake.

Q: My TFSA makes up a tiny portion of my overall portfolio and I have maxed my contributions to date. I have to sell about 1/2 of the portfolio within the next few weeks to pay for a wedding (life can get in the way of long term investing!).

However, I am stuck on what to sell. I hold AVO, AYA, BDI, CGI. DHX, CF, ESL, STN in a fairly balanced portfolio. I am trying to determine a strategy of what is best to sell. I am comfortable with all of them, long term. Do I sell 50% of each (even the couple I am down on), are there some that you expect to grow a lot sooner than the others (it will take a couple of years to probably replace the withdrawals), is CF anticipated to declare a special dividend, etc?

Any assistance as to how to orient my thinking would be appreciated.

As a caution to others, I should add that I did trim a bit earlier but I became complacent with the high valuations and didn't prepare for this September drop in the markets.

Appreciate your assistance and I hope you are transitioning well from all your riding. I did the Ride to Conquer Cancer and it took me a few days to slow myself down!

Someone on BNN commented yesterday that Cineplex was cheap right now...from a P/E or P/CF it does not look overly cheap to me. Would you say it is inexpensive or fairly valued and by what metrics?

Auto Canada is under lot of pressure recently and is loosing heavily. Is there any news on this stock? Is this a stock a buy / hold /sell currently? Is it worth entering in to a new position in this stock at current levels?

Q: A day or so ago, ENB announced that it was transferring a 1.76 Billion pipeline package to the Enbridge Income Fund. My question is why they are doing this and how this transaction will affect the stock price of both companies. Tnx for all the great work.

Q: Do you have any suggestions with regard to selling your losers? For example, I own Avigilon (AVO) and currently have a loss of 41% and keep on holding it with the hope that some good news will be on the horizon and the stock will head up. Frankly, I wish I had sold it long ago. I know that some investors have a rule if a stock drops 7-10% from purchase price, it is sold. Do you have any general recommendations for selling losers? Q: Questor (QST) is dropping in a major way today. I expect that small caps will generally fall more than large cap stocks when we experience the kind of drops we have seen on the TSX over the past few days. This, however, seems overdone on no news. Is this an opportunity to add to my QST position?

Please provide me a recommend a list of Canadian companies that can benefit from us markets and us growth . I believe that AD would be an example as it is in the us or moving that way ? . I prefer dividend stocks.

Q: What's going on with FSZ? I purchased this stock because you liked it (can't remember specific reasons). I've held since Oct 2013 and it's down 5.5%. Yes, it pays a dividend close to 3%, but I'm wondering if I should sell while my losses are low.

Q: CSS.I called Market Call & Market Call Tonight 3 times over the last 2 weeks,& was informed that the guests do not cover CSS.I cannot understand.Please give your opinion.On 9/18,Barry Schwartz talked about TFI.He thinks that TFI is making a good acquistion in CSS.but some shareholders object so extend offer.Fedex recently reported good numbers,so companies in the sector like TFI & CSS should follow suit. Q: Avigilon,Auto Canada,Badger for the long term ie over 5 yrs
Avo,AcQ, Bad are now priced at less then the mid point of their 52 wk low & high.
What is the peg ratio on the above & is it ok to establish a small position , say 1/3 in each of them now with the plan to purchase another 1/3 provided you issue a favorable report on their 3rd Q results.

Wi-Lan stock price spiked higher with huge volume at the very last few seconds of the trading day. I have a big position in the stock, and trying find a chance to reduce my position and use the fund for some other technology or industrial names under 5i coverage. Any thoughts? Thank you!
