Q: Hi 5i,

Looking to start an RESP for a newborn. Any recommendations in how to configure an ETF portfolio? If you had to limit yourself to a selection of 3 ETFs, which would you choose and why?

We think an all-equity portfolio works, considering a long timeframe from 'newborn' and with the expectation of more money coming in yearly. We think XIC 35%, ZSP 45% and VIU 20% would provide a good diversified low-cost set up covering North American and the rest of the world.
