Q: Hi Team,
I hold a heavy position in Gsy and Prl both. I do not own any Hood yet. I was debating trimming some Prl to take a position in Hood. Do you think this is a good idea? Do you see the Hood share price outperforming Prl in the next while and long term? Or…is Hood and the whole crypto sector a little over heated right now and might I be better waiting for a pullback before buying Hood?

5i Research Answer:
We like HOOD and would be comfortable owning it. That being said, it is very different than PRL. Massively larger, and much more expensive. But we do expect it to continue to do well. We like PRL, but considering that GSY is in the same space and doing better, for diversification purposes WE would be OK with a trim of PRL for HOOD to add another financial name to a portfolio.
