Q: My international holdings (ex, US) comprise 15 % of my portfolio, which comprises 70% VE, and 30% VEE. Do you think that VIU would be a better option than VE at the same percentage? Thanks in advance as always.

With Europe's stock recovery, VE's five-year return is now about 1.2 percentage points higher than VIU. Such a switch would move Europe exposure to 40% (VIU) from 100% (VE). We think, from an increased diversification point of view, it would make sense to switch to VIU.
