Q: Gentlemen: I have held some shares of this in my TFSA for some time but see it has decreased in value since last October. I dont have to sell but wonder if you see any good news on the horizon or would I be better selling and getting something else
5i Research Answer:
NWH.UN struggled significantly over the last year and the company ended up cutting its distrubution in September. News wise we do not see anything but one positive was that the company was able to keep its tenant count relatively stable so in a better rate environment, performance has room to improve. In a potentially lower/stable rate environment we can see NWH.UN doing better, but the performance over the last year makes it risky as fundmentals deteriorated. We would be comfortable selling here and two other options in the REIT space that we like are DIR.UN and CAR.UN.
