- Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (BIP.UN)
- Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BIPC)
We have answered this using BEPC/BIP.UN, but the symbols entered were different than the symbols in the question. BEPC is a different entity, focused on renewables, whereas BIP.UN has a more diverse set of business exposure (telecom, transport, infrastructure). BIP.UN has been weaker, and could thus have more upside in a market pivot. We wouldn't really object if one wanted to own BEP. If the question was meant to compare BIPC and BIP.UN it is different. The price differential on these two is quite high, and for most investors we do not think the benefit of the tax credit would be enough to offset a current $9/share difference and also a lower yield.
