BEI.UN is slightly larger than IIP.UN, at a $2.4B market cap vs. IIP.UN at $1.4B. Both companies are expected to see strong revenue and earnings growth this year. IIP.UN has shown better sales growth over the past several years, but it also trades at a higher valuation than BEI.UN (14.1X vs. 9.5X forward earnings, respectively). IIP.UN pays a 3.0% yield whereas BEI.UN pays 1.9%. Despite its higher valuation, we would prefer IIP.UN here due to its stronger fundamentals and better historical growth rates. We like it at its current price, although if there is a decline in price, we would see ~$11.7 as an attractive area.
