Q: Hello Peter....I'd like to improve my timing of trading stocks as when to press the do it, execute button. By trading, I mean buying and selling shares related to an investment portfolio. Any suggestions for me or books/articles to 'study'?

Q: I've been watching MBC (MBAC fertilizer) slowly decline for the last 6 months till it fell 10% today. I realize the sector is out of favour but is there something i"m not seeing. Just getting into production have some good properties, Brazil needs fertilizer,good location, even a possibility of Rare earth production. I don't mind waiting for a sector change. Your opinion please?

Q: Hello Peter and Team, Huge volume on NAL today once price hit $20.
Probably a large fund unloading shares after a good run up in price. Any thoughts? As always, I appreciate the great work you folks are doing.

I noticed that some days there are unusual big numbers of block trades - as per Financial Post - Block trades yesterday. Is there any special reason there were so many trades yesterday.

Q: Smartcool[SSC- tsxv] Noted another revenue target identified on Mar.19th which adds to a considerable expansion of distribution centers & direct sales. Products save 15-20% on kilowatt hour usage translating to reduced heating/cooling costs.Given business' focus on cutting power costs is it time to buy in as part of a higher risk segment of a portfolio?

I know you prefer IWO for US Growth, but would you consider VBK (Vanguard Small cap growth ETF) a viable alternative? The MER is 0.10% for VBK.

Q: Hi 5i I guess this is a commodities question. Analysts all seem to feel the Cdn. dollar is going to drop quite a bit further over time. Cdn. companies selling commodities at U.S. prices but operating in Cdn. dollars I would think would benefit. But with the Cdn. $ going down does this make a Cdn. company look less desirable to foreign investors Thx Gerry
