Q: OMG, I am embarrassed. I misspoke myself when I said "resistance". I meant "support" and realized my error after I pressed the Submit button. There are several things that can be said about AYO from a technical analysis perspective but I won't since this is a fundamentalist's website, except to say that I won't be a buyer until it bottoms out and starts to climb again. And it will, in the fullness of time.

Q: I own AVO - successfully! Was looking to increase & decided to update my research. RBC research issued 2 reports on 3/5 & 3/10/14 - mostly upbeat & positive. However on April 1 (yesterday), they prepared a Foundation Report & then suddenly deleted all info. as restricted as at 2000hrs. This withholding of ALL info usually indicates a financial change - ie: new issue, sale, refinancing, etc. What's your take. Thanks

Q: AVO's current swoon began on the day their COO was released and an new COO was appointed. The technical chart shows the price today has rallied off support established on November 20th last year. The primary trend (up) is still well established and won't be broken unless prices reach $27 to 27.50. I'm underwater on the stock but won't be a seller unless both support and the trend is broken. If there is a question in here, I guess it is to ask if my thinking can be shared with you.

Q: I am thinking of purchasing some more AVO. I would be "averaging down" as I am currently negative with AVO. I would be liquidating a 3% weighting in PWF and increasing my weighting in AVO to 4%. Of course PWF pays a dividend and AVO does not. Both stocks are down this year with AVO down about 8% and PWF down 5% which isn't suprising as AVO is more volatile. I have a relatively diversified portfolio except I am a overweight in financials...(BNS, TD & SLF)
Any cautions?
Thanks

Q: In response to a question about stopping-out of AVO you stated..."At this time, there may be something fundamental that has changed about the stock." Do you believe something has changed with the company and if so what in particular has changed? Possibly you believe nothing has changed with the company but rather market sentiment has changed. Anyways I am confused - can you clarify your thoughts on the company. (In regards to market sentiment I believe it was Keynes who said that the market could stay irrational longer than one could stay solvent - which is why I don't borrow to buy stocks).

Q: Peter isn't one of your criteria for selecting good stocks the fact that they rarely issue shares? The reason I am asking this is that AVO -- Avigilon seems to be issuing a LOT of stock when they don't need the cash. I know your team has answered a previous question on AVO about this by saying that they probably have a big acquisition that they want to do BUT I have been invested in companies before that have done this and it always seems like they think the shares are over-valued and they want to benefit by selling at a high price.

Do you have any concerns about the way that they are selling a lot of shares without needing the cash?

Thanks
