Q: We have only a 5% exposure to Real Estate and would like to sell D.UN, (about 1.4%) in a taxable account for tax loss purposes. Can I replace with another REIT holding before the 30 day period and if so what would you recommend? Thanks for the excellent service.

Q: Dream Office REIT has been lagging recently. Presumably due to interest rate concerns and increased future office supply particularly in Toronto. I'm thinking the stock looks reasonably cheap now and maybe the bad news is mostly priced in. Do you think the distribution is safe? How correlated is office property to residential real estate should we see a housing correction? Thank you.
Q: There seems to be increasing negativity concerning d.un, because office space in both Toronto and Calgary is being overbuilt. Is it time to hit the exit. Thanks/Mark
Q: Peter and Co.
Wayne asked about CI financial(CIX) today 15 May. In your reply you mentioned that Scotiabank (BNS) had bought Dundee of which I was not aware. I also read approximately 3 weeks ago that the Dundee companies were hard to analyse/understand. I wonder if you could give me your opinion of Dundee. I have DI and D. Thanks in advance. Your work is very much appreciated.

Q: In March (around 18th) you commented on Dundee and said something about the founder. I cannot find that particular answer and wonder if you can repeat it or say something new. At the time, it did not seem to be directed to any one of the Dundee stable so I am curious about both D.UN and DI.UN. Thanks in advance for your help and patience.

Q: Good morning
I would like to switch out of Dundee (D.un). Would swithing into Car.un or HR.un be a good idea.
If not, could you recommend a good growth stock with a nice dividend to replace D.un
Thanks

Q: Peter et al,
I bought Dundee Real Estate (D.UN-T) at around $30 plus. It sat below that for a while but has crept up to $29 plus. It has been disappointing. What is your opinion on it now? The dividend is decent but I don't want to hang onto it if it is going to just creep along.

Q: Peter . Looking to buy Dundee reit and Artis reit for long term income. Are the dividends safe? What would the payout ratio be. Looks like Dundee has not raised its div. for years. Thanks for the info, Ken
Q: what do you think of Dundee reit. (d.un) as a long term hold.
Thank you
David

Q: Good Afternoon,
Could you please comment on Dundee REIT (D.un) and Dundee International REIT (Di.un). Are their payouts sustainable? Is there any relationship between the two companies? Thanks!

Q: Hi Guys,
I am looking for income. Dundee REIT (D.un) currently pays an 8.2% distribution. There may be no growth for awhile, but do you see the distribution going down over the next 5 years? I would be quite happy with an annualized 8% return over that time frame. I know you don't have a crystal ball, but can you give me an estimated percentage of the likelyhood of a rate reduction.
Regards
John

Q: I am interested in adding Dundee International REIT. (DI.UN) to my portfolio for income. I found the book value and it is ok. I am unable to find the payout ratio. Could you please comment.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: DUNDEE INTERNATIONAL REIT REPORTS Q3 FINANCIAL RESULTS AND SURPASSES $1.0 BILLION IN ACQUISITIONS IN 2013
1.I am mostly a income seeking ( income addicted )investor .YOUR ASSESSMENT OF THE ABOVE IN LIGHT OF THEIR NUMBERS.
2.DOES IT MAKE SENSE TO KEEP REITS THAT DO NOT HAVE TO REFINANCE TO MUCH. AS THEY PAY A GOOD DIVINED AND HAVE THE CAPACITY TO INCREASE RENTS ??? I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THE EXCESSIVE DOWN WARD EVALUATION OF THE SECTOR ???
thanks again

Q: Hi Peter and team. Can't thank you enough for your advice and analysis. I haven't had so much fun in the market in years. Yeah PLB!!! What are your thoughts on Dundee Reit. (D.UN) I am underwater on this and am wondering if it is dead money whether I should bail. Thanks Cathy
Q: Peter, I bought Dundee Real Estate several months ago at $33 before the US Feds talked of easing tapering and it nose-dived. Today it was close to $29.00. Is it worth considering buying more shares to average down, assuming that it is a reasonably safe stock or would I be better off in another reit such as H&R which appeals to me. Thanks in advance for your good advice.

Q: hi peter;could you give me your opinion on d.un it has a good div. would you buy it . thanks brian
Q: I've taken a 20% hit on Dundee (D.un). Andy Nasr said he would sell Dundee because the supply of office space in Toronto is poised to increase (an area of focus for Dundee). I realize many of the reits have been hit hard but is Dundee fundamentally flawed? I could sell d.un and buy HR.un or FCR to recoup losses when the tide turns more favourable for the sector. Thank-you.
Q: Can you comment please on the down-grade of Dundee (D.UN) by CIBC today? TIA
Gary

Q: Dundee REIT has been down lately. Do you think it is a good hold and just suffering from the interest rate noise or is there fundamental problems?
Thanks,
Charlie

Q: I own Dundee REIT (D.UN) for a few years and have been quite happy with the results. However, with the potential of rising interest rates would it be better for me to liquidate sooner than later....many thanks...
