Q: RE "what's your sell disciplilne?" blog.
If DOL was in the BE portfolio or the growth and you had held it for over a year with a 100% gain, what would 5i do?
1) let it run on fundamentals, 2)take the profit and let the rest run, 3)substitute, 4) sell on valuation or stop gain, 5)trade on technicals and buy back based on the belief it will run more.
Thank you.

Q: I'd like any updated thoughts on Dollarama (DOL). I currently hold it and have seen it rise significantly over the last few months. They had good earnings, but the rise seems to be greater than expected. Although I'm not complaining, is it overbought? Prior to becoming a 5i member, I probably would have sold already, so I'd like your thoughts on whether I should keep holding.
Thanks for everything, and I hope your team has a wonderful Christmas!
Q: Dollarama was downgraded by Neil Linsdell with a 12-month target price of $95.00. Do you think the growth story is still intact? Also, with all the M&A activity surrounding Family Dollar, why hasn't there been much, if any, reaction in Dollarama? Usually there is a bump in share price when there is news of consolidation in a sector.
Q: Hi,
What is your current opinion on DOL (Dollarama)? I currently hold DOL and AYA for consumer discretionary exposure and ATD.B and CCL.B for consumer staples coverage. If you were to switch DOL for another Consumer Discretionary, what alternative(s) would you suggest? ( with a 20-yr time frame) Thank you.
Q: Regarding Dollarama (DOL). I generally like to let my winners run, especially if they are still trading at attractive valuations and I have had a good run with Dollarama however its now trading at 22x 2015 earnings estimates and 19x next fiscal year's earnings estimates.
Do you think its being too cute selling on any additional move up hoping for a pullback close to the $90 level?
I figure yesterday's move in the share price had everything to do with Icahn taking a position in Family Dollar and a bit of last weeks, move was based on the report that Dollarama would make a good fit for one of the dollar stores in the States.
Q: There are two companies I'm loosing confidence in, DOL and CFN.
My objective is to have long term growth plus a good mtly dividend to accumulate. Would appreciate your feedback...CHEERS Claude
Q: Hello,
Thinking of investing in the Canadian retail sector, I'm hesitating between Alimentation Couche-Tard & Dollarama; is there room for both?

Q: Hello Peter and Company
I was waiting for DOL to pull back in order to buy a position; it did pull back because of Family Dollar; your opinion is much appreciated

Q: Hi Peter and 5iResearch Team,
What do you think of the valuation of Dollarama with the pullback today? Do you prefer DOL or the banks such as TD or Scotia for growth.
Thank you.
Linda
Q: would you agree that [dol] dollarama is an excellent medium and long term investment, since they do well in good and tough times in the economy, thanks?
