Q: Hi Peter DH sold out both the debentures and stock in the first minute of trading I had my expression of interest in an hour after the close and got none.That is good news .BPH.UN and RNW have not traded over the offer price all week and are still open .A re these deals going to collapse?

Q: Hi Peter and company, Can I have an updated assessment on holding Great West vs Sunlife. GWO appears to have more momentum right now and the yield is very similar. I really appreciate your opinion going forward. What do you expect from both over the next 3-5 years.

Q: Hello Peter,
Can you please comment on Prometic Life's latest results on March 31, 2015? Also, I am hearing they want to do a nasdaq listing and would require a reverse split to ensure they are above $2 dollar threshold. I have seen reverse splits hurting the stock in the long run for some cases. CAn you please comment? Lately, with very little news, cipher and Biosyent having been declining. What do yo do in these cases? Do i switch to Concordia. Lastly, DHX media is not moving much eventhough they are signing deals. Is the stock just taking a pause? Q: I reviewed your comments with interest as well as some dudilgence which show heavy insider selling.

Q: It would be helpful if you could give a relative ranking of risk for each stock in the new growth portfolio. Do you consider them all high risk? Are certain ones not as risk as others? What do you consider to assess risk?

Q: The new Growth Portfolio was up approximately 2.28% yesterday while the TSX was up only .27% and the Venture was up .18%. Is the reason for this that 5i members are piling in, or are there other factors at work here?

Q: I owned shares in Brookfield Infrastructure for part of 2014. I just received a letter from them enclosing information for filing a 2014 U.S. tax return. The shares were bought and sold on the TSX.

I have held shares in quite a few companies over the years and have never received a similar request so am not sure what to do with this one.

Is this something that you folks know about or do I need to consult a tax adviser?

Q: Good Day fine team. Thank you for your new Growth PF. Happily I already own 5 of the equities. My question - I only own (due to the large drop in energy) a total of 5.4% within my 4 PFs. Black Diamond has dropped from last May or Apr from $34.31 to $12.79 for me. I also own WCP, BAD, and RRX. BDI loss translates into almost $2000.00. I have sold SGY and FRC already. Any thoughts on BDI? I'm hoping to hold on as all the research through 5i is complimentary to BDI. I am still having a blast with the world of investing... thanks to you.

Q: Hi Peter and Team,

First of all, thanks for putting out the Growth Portfolio. Looks awesome. I was happy to see that I already hold 5 of the names in the portfolio. My question is about Solium Capital. I currently have it in my TFSA and think it might be a good call to switch it out for 1-2 names (2 since SUM is an 8% weighting) in the growth portfolio. Can you recomment a good replacement from the portfolio? I already own CXI, DHX.B, AVO, GUD, XTC, and I plan on buying OTC with cash I already have set aside.
