Q: Can I have your opinion on the Franklin Bissett Microcap Fund series F. I realize that the fees are quite high but the long term returns have been quite good. Wandering if I could use this fund as a percentage of my TFSA portfolio.

Q: I am re-allocating profits from my equity portfolio (thank you!)into fixed income. I am planning to buy (and hold to maturity) bonds of 2 more companies. I already have TD, Fairfax Financial, Russel Metals, and Alliance Grain. I am considering one of either Athabasca Oil (ATH) or Paramount Resources (POU), and one of either Corus Entertainment (CJR.B) or Quebecor (QBR.B). What would be your recommendations?

Q: Hello team, today I sold Mastercard and some other USA based stocks - with my concerns over the Ukraine issue. My feeling is that while the Canadian portion of my portfolio will be affected, it is the USA stocks that are the most exposed to a large drop. I read your respons to Michael about the Ukraine but am wondering about your position of USA vs Canada risk percentage.

Q: Peter, kudos to you and your team. I have taken your advice and it has been excellent. I have a question on LTS, I bought it Jan '13 at 9.45 it is now down 34%. It was 5% of my investment portfolio, I bought it for the dividend which has been cut drastically. Should I sell and take the loss and buy something better, or do you foresee some positive action. If I sell, will you please suggest another dividend payer. I already hold slw,ala,stb,tou,ppy,bad,bep.un, chw, dh, eld, acq, cnq, esl, fsz,kbl,msi, win in 5% amounts of my portfolio. Thank You!

Q: I currently hold MEG & TOG, both make up approx 7% together of the energy component of my portfolios. I am looking to compliment these if you agree with those choices. However I also feel that Nat Gas will do well into 2014. What would recommend in that vein and perhaps buying the UNG is avenue to pursue. Look forward to your insight. Excellent forum. Thanks. Help! Four months ago, I started investing in my TFSA for my young adult son. I hold ACQ, AVO,CGX, STN and T. All are down between 6-7% except Telus. I know that these are good companies, but I would really like to add a stock that will show growth in the near future. What would you suggest? Q: MCB/GLN I am looking to raise some cash. Because of your views of McCoy and Glentel they are prime candidates. Glentel's earnings are coming out soon and I am expecting a reasonable Xmas season and hope to sell in that time. McCoy I am less sure of as to when to sell. I have a small profit in both. What would you recommend?

Q: GUD-X Hi 5i team. Was lucky enough to have owned Paladin from mid $30's and up.
The Knights Therapeutics as you've mentioned ipo's today. I've been able to download the the symbol on the G&M watch list but no price or volume numbers shown yet.
Can you take me thru how this process will work? My intention is to follow same and perhaps buy it on a dip, compelling news, or even momentum. Thank you in advance david

Till more funds become available for me to invest I’ve decided to strengthen my portfolio fundamentals one sector at a time, starting with the REITs.

I currently own Senior Housing Properties Trust (SNH), RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust (REI.UN), Northern Property Real Estate Investment Trust (NPR.UN), Lexington Realty Trust( LXP), HCP In. (HCP), Dundee Real Estate Investment Trust( D.UN), Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust( CUF.UN), Chartwell Retirement Residences (CSH.UN) , Calloway REIT (CWT.UN).

I am willing to sell a couple of my holdings and buy H & R REIT and HealthLease Properties REIT. Your suggestions please, along with any other ideas you may have.

Q: BPO
I have read many of your answers to members' questions on this Offer by Brookfield Property Partners L.P. for all the outstanding shares of Brookfield Office Properties Inc. My BPO shares are in a registered account. If I instruct my broker to simply accept the offer would I receive as many BPY Units as possible with US $20.34 cash for the balance based on the pro ration formula. My objective would be to receive as many BPY shares as possible. In the package I received I do not see the list of acceptance choices addressed by a member in an earlier question. Thanks.

Q: Peter,
I know you don't think highly of DWI's(Dragonwave) management. But on valuation and potential for their product, is it worth $1.50? I sold around $2.00 and just got back in.
What do you think of PXL (Palliser Oil)? Will it be a survivor?
Lastly, NII (Norsat) is trending up. What do you think of this stock?

Q: Could you comment please on MMF.UN as an investment. What are the risks and what is the downside. This fund is run by some very smart people.

I own for the past 6 months some shares in Stellar Biotechnologies KLH-X
It has decent volume but the price has slowly deteriorated.
