Q: In the income portfolio CVD has a yield of 4.9% but on the ishares website the YTM is 2.29%. What would be the yield if I purchased this product today. Thank you Ron
Q: re: CVL Cervus Equip
I am down 8% thus far this year which is no big deal. Long term investor rather than short term. But reviewing CVL Volume shows only 175 shares. Is this something I should be concerned about?
Thank Peter & Family

Q: AET.UN ( argent ) has dropped repeatedly in the past few weeks and continues to fall despite reassurance by management that all is well. Is there a reason for concern here? I would have thought situation would have stabilized by now.

Q: What is your opinion about Magna's plans to raise up to 2 billion in debt when in 2013 it returned about 1.3 billion to shareholders in the form of dividends and share buybacks?
Q: Hi Peter. I have been following SDRL the last couple of months. It is a top pick of some analysts. My question is I have a concern for its high debt (Not convinced they can cover it). Is the high dividend sustainable and will the stock go up over the next few years. Thanks. Rene
Q: In one of your answers today, you indicated that large portfolios should consider hedge products and real estate, in addition to a diversified stock portfolio. I assume that the real estate you are referring to excludes a personal residence. Could you elaborate further and indicate how an individual investor can access hedge funds and real estate opportunities? Thanks!
Q: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF KP TISSUE AND TORSTAR? I APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE.EBRAHIM
Q: Hello Peter and team;
I keep reading about the the next big thing: The internet of everything i.e. embedded wireless modules--I think also referred to as M2M and how it will connect the world just like the internet did. I would like to invest early for the future of this trend. What company would be at the forefront of this technology? Would it be Sierra Wireless (SW) OR PCN Technology (PCN) or even CSCO. Thanks you for your insight. First thing I turn on every morning is 5i research questions and answers.

Q: Hi, as a follow up to your recent response for larger portfolios on using hedged products, real estate and large caps, can you please provide some further recommendations for these ? I have set up 3 seperate portfolios - eft portfolio recommendations from the moneyletter , your equity portfolio , and the new fixed income portfolio with an investment ratio of 2:2:1.
Thank you

Q: Can you advise why you removed K-Bro from your model portfolio? Thank you. Bill Y.
Q: I am thinking of buying 1000 shares of Sierra Wireless SW for their technology in embedded wireless modules. Do you think it is a good entry point. What is their cash position? And is their p/e reasonable?
Q: My question is about Monument Mining. It is profitable, has no debt, and with a trailing P/E of less than 2 it appears to be very cheap. What do you think of this stock?
Q: Good Afternoon 5i,
Your thoughts on Brookfield real estate (BRE)?

Q: Hi 5i team,
Please give some background in building your income portfolio with regard to
a) WSP....an interesting choice considering your favorite is STN
b) SGY selection over so many good oil companies
c) FLOT with 0.4% yield as oppose to GIC
SPB, VNR and ET are excellent surprises we do not read regularly
I will gradually adopt to your income portfolio. Great work as usual, thanks

Q: Hi there,
I am following your model portfolio with some of my own picks. I already own SJ and SLF. Therefore am debating on continuing to hold my full position in TOU. Do you still feel there is a lot of upside to TOU? Thank you for such a wonderful service it has helped me tremendously.
