Q: Hello 5I team,
I feel a little repetitious in thanking you for your wonderful service. But, i think that we are all so impressed that we are compelled to do so over and over again!

My question involves Metro (MRU). You mentionned that you didn't think it was one of the best in this area, I believe. You seem to like Loblaws more, if I am not mistaken. But, the question I have concerns the fact that Metro owns a number of Alimentation Couchetarde shares. About seven or eight per cent I believe. Would you see this as a hidden asset and worth holding on to Metro because of? I have a good profit on Metro but I am looking for a few candidates for thinning the herd. Thanks

Q: We own some Royal Dutch Shell shares RDS.B NYSE and wonder how the following announcement will affect the shares. Q: Hi 5i Team,

I just read an article about a satellite company offering a free tracking service for aircraft that fly over the sea: "U.K. satellite company Inmarsat is offering a free tracking service to all passenger airlines -- an issue that drew international attention after Malaysian Airlines' MH370 disappeared on March 8."
In your estimation, does this hurt Flyht's(FLY) prospects?

Q: Further to my earlier (comment/suggestion) re: Donations of Stocks "IN KIND". I'm not sure you undersood that the 'Contact Info" was provided by the Charity you are sponsored by not a sponor I drummed-up. This is from liz.chornenki@ctcacf.org....I.E. Coast to Coast Cancer Foundation. Also this type of donation is NOT done overnight as with a Visa/Mastercard donation so I'm not sure why you would wait to promote it?

Regarding your up-coming Sears National Kid's Cancer Ride/Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation. I was curious as to whether they accept CDN equity shares "IN KIND" as donations, and thus Contacted them directly and found out that they do!
I'm suprised that being in the business as you are, you don't promote the advantages of donating stock (that has appreciated)
directly (without selling the stock) to a "CHARITY" such as this!

Q: Good morning. BDT Bird announced earnings on Friday with a 66% drop in earnings per share despite a growing backlog. This was supposed to be a better quarter after completing a boondoggle project. Is it time to give up on Bird?

As part of a query today you stated the following, "CPD could be replaced with a rock-solid floating rate preferred such as BCE. PRE. AD "- This symbol doesn't show but BCE.PR.A and BCE.PR.D do show on a Morningstar search. If these are what you are referring to, which would be the better?
